Yes this sounds like a fun and balanced mode
No, I like to play in 5 man carry teams
For those who dont know what Captains Mode is, its a game mode in which the best player on the team picks 5 heroes, and the rest of the team has to pick among them. This would work in all modes, but Banning pick would be the best one. So how about it?, Id love to have the smart guy on the team decide what the less skilled players get to play.

I don't really see the point.
In pub games, it would be beyond terrible. People would rage if they didn't like the heroes blue/pink picked. Or blue/pink would troll and pick useless heroes for everyone.
In high level games/teams etc, can't they just talk about it themselves and pick accordingly.
If you want a more skilled player to pick for you, just ask who they think you should go and pick it yourself.
I usually play with friends and my friend usually gets blue. We usually have 2 pub players in our team and they usually end up ruining our team with bad choices. Id like it if we had the choice in what they get to play. And about people who would rage if blue picked bad heroes for them, those people should just unclick the captains mode choice in MM.

the rest of the team could have a choice somewhat. some people may be absolutely terrible at the hero chosen for them and leave
Blue doesnt decide who plays what, its up to the team to communicate to not let anyone get stuck with a hero they hate
