So I made this account as an experiment to see how many games in a row I could win with this cheap 1v1 strat. My title is always something like "1v1 apem all lanes", so there is no confusion about that. Currently I am 50-0 with this strategy, and only about 2-3 games were close.
The closest game I had was against a wildsoul actually. Wildsoul in bear form can tank scout pretty well, and he can push faster than scout can for about the first 15 minutes of the game. Also, if entangle procs on scout he is in trouble.
The only other strategy that I think stands a chance against this is lego with portal key, bound eye, and blade mail, but that is still pretty hard to get against scout.
Finally, I should say that I like playing AP, because I am trying to see any strategy that can compete against scout.
I haven't ran into anyone that can beat me 1v1 when I play Chronos. Not even scout has a chance once Chronos gets geometers
lost to devourer, he had mock, doombringer(i killed by him when i kongor), and barbed armor, i cant touch him or i will get burned by him, and i got null stone to counter his ulti but i still lose...

yeah, when you have a doombringer and no token, thats the 2 minutes of being completely vulnerable, and essentially the entire game rests on those 2 minutes. if you dont have the eye skill yet, buy some wards and place one in the river northwest of the runespot (or on the hellbourne ramp) and another up the ramp near bottom lane incase they come from that direction, this will give you the vital seconds you need to get away if they come for you.
its also a good idea to wait untill they are pushing a tower or somesuch before you engage kongor, if you see them break off their push you know they are likely headed for you and that you need to fall back.
Matchmaking will fix it, whatever your problem is, matchmaking will fix it.

Ive actually played a few devourers that were annoying. The trick is getting enough hps / defenses to live through the combo. Once that happens he is completely helpless, even if you are at low hps you should be able to beat him.
Just a played a scout who did this ****, as pestilence. I was 3:1 ahead but he killed my towers faster while I was killing his. In the end he raxed me once, then I raxed him, but managed to gay all my towers by simply abusing the fact that I had to defend and couldn't push even when we both had 1 rax down. Pretty lol

The problem is that when you finally stop farming
and start to fighting, your opponent will either quit,
or will camp at his base making it impossible for you to
farm kills :<
Just got scout on 1v1 -sdem
- Some newbie really wanted to kick my ass!
Remembered this guide instantly - picked at last second.
He got pyro. I got immune. He got invis, i got eye, i got doombringer! He got Doomed!
Thx for the nice guide
I really never bother to play scout.. But i must admit.. It rocked! It came quite naturally to switch lanes all the time!.. And well.. When he tried to stun me the fourth time and i used immunity - he conceded![]()
Used this guide many times, and have only lost once (today against a "pro" pestillence) I don't know why but even though I had HoTBL he could harrass me pretty good and he did all the time, and afterwards I got a bit outfarmed. Lasted really long and I got down all his towers but then he got my rax since he managed to farm heart I could'nt really dmg him. Think I'm a bit out of practice though, been to Ecuador for three weeks now and jetlag and sickness is annoying. Again thanks for a nice guide though. Chronos is not that easy to play against either but with a doombringer and some luck on the disarms you can take him down pretty fast.
Played this a great number of times, haven't yet lost using Doombringer, which I feel is the superior strategy.
However I haven't truly been tested by someone who had the common sense to also rush a doombringer. I feel that against a Chronos who farms a doombringer it will all come down to whoever gets Rosh first. If Chronos does you are gonna lose, if you do, it's still an uphill battle trying to push his base while his ult is down (after he blows it to burn your Token).
Some things that may not have been mentioned, Symbol of Rage is your best friend to counter Blademail.
