Hello!
I see myself as a pretty experienced (pub~) player and I feel like I can play Ophelia pretty well. However, there is ofcourse always room for improvment!
I have played some games where I have failed totally, in most of those games I know which misstakes I did which caused me to fail (or, ofcourse, blaming allies).
Whats more interesting to me, is how I can improve the game when I feel like I do well. I'll show you a couple of my games that I've played recently, where I felt that I played pretty good.
Would love for some experienced players to give me some pointers on what to improve!

All of these games (on the surface) seem fine to me. I haven't seen them, but your itemization is fine and you're a pretty high MMR player. For one, you won all of the games posted. Why not show us replays where things didn't go so well so we can work on improvements there? Like of course there are games where you just don't play well, but there are some games that don't seem you are going to lose that somehow seem to slip away. Show us those games instead!
Yeah, well as I wrote, "I have played some games where I have failed totally, in most of those games I know which misstakes I did which caused me to fail".
I do fail quite often, but when that happens I know what I did wrong most of the timeWhat im interested in is improving my games when I feel like I'm playing well
edit: oups missread your comment ^^ I'll try to find some games like that and post aswell tomorrow or so.
I'm p. good with Ophelia - http://www.fiendnetwork.com/player-s...r_name=Lucifer

Good communication in Lobby -
wisely spent 500g on support
I'd reccommend going 1 counterward + flying courier instead of what you got, let others buy normal wards and it's pretty rare to actually need 2 counterwards at start
sometimes you need the flying courier to see where they placed their ward
not a bad counterward, and you tried to stack at 50 sec very nice - should've used vulture's tornado to harass / get kills after you destroyed their ward, it's amazing against lvl 1 heroes
nice gank mid
you didn't really go the best way when trying to gank top lane after that - should've gone a lower route and hit them from behind, much easier to hit mino stun then and they're less prepared to respond
also when valk got sleeped you should've told minotaur to attack him (similar opportunities were missed later in game, should always have a creep take the sleep off heroes when close by)
- choice of items and order in which you get them is nearly same as mine, only thing I do differnt is I get refreshing ornament before starting on puzzlebox/codex (then upgrade to astrolabe later)
- good counterwarding below kongor, starting to feel like I'm watching one of my own replays xD
- had someone else take token, good (but not necessery since the game was already won)
- guessing you were going for puzzlebox (strongest item by far on ophelia and good synergy with push boots) personally I would've gone codex in a game where my team was dominating this hard
general note; stacking, pulling and denying entire waves gives your 1v2 dude a huge xpm advantage - this should be a priority when playing ophelia - but it wasn't really necessery in this particular match

Woa you play quite alot of Ophelia!
Thank you for your input, on the game vs Succubus I did take the sleep once with a creep, but most of the time I didnt, defenitely have to practice that.
About the flying couirer at start: So far i've never had to use it to counterward where the creeps are, only sometimes to counterward runespot if I only have rev wards. However, I guess that has alot to do with the level of play I'm in, the enemies just doesnt think that far :P Usually I get flying as soon as I hit 200g, but that can potentially ruin a few pulls which can ruin a lane (or atleast hurt it alot).
Will do some more flying at lvl1 from now on and try to be active with it to see where they ward etc.
anyone good will place ward in the trees so you can't counterward as easily
(when warding pullspot)
Would appreciate more tips!![]()
Was toying with the idea of buying a gem as first item? Only if we had someone else to get a couirer ofcourse. What I would do is just go kill a couple of creeps and then ferry the gem with the couirer to kill all the enemies wards (and counterwards).
Especially usefull if the gem would be usefull later on ofcourse, for perhaps ganking a scout/nighthound/madman/nomad/etc.
It would also be used to constantly kill wards ofcourse. I dont think its very viable, unless you have like two other supportheroes in the team. Thoughts?

that is a really bad guide to ophelia :s
(also out of date since she's been changed a lot since then)
Yeah I watched the video but i didnt really agree with alot of it and it was sort of an introduction to people who have no idea about the hero

good times ! we're still semi-active in EVE, do the alliance tournament every year and the occasional robbery or scam, but mostly we're just an IRC channel![]()
I remember me and my friends talking about that a few years ago in University
After that we made some EVE trial accounts!Beautiful game.
