Here's a question for everyone: Do you get a Mana Battery/Power Supply on Swiftblade or not, and what's the reasoning. I find it extremely useful, considering how limited Swift's manapool is and how low his hp is early on. This will probably allow you to combo |spin + ult| @ level 6 when you have enough charges. I guess when playing against a heavy-autoattack lane you can skip this, but I have yet to do so. What do you guys think? Wasted slot and gold, better save up and rush runed faster or an item to pick up for sure.

situational; i don't think Power Supply in particular is ever worth it on Swift though. mana battery is good enough, and you can toss it later.
just my opinion.
Ah I meant mana battery actually![]()
mana battery is so hopeful on swift, a couple charges can easily give you another spin/ult when you need it cuz his mana pool sucks
whether you upgrade it is preference,
I like to personally as I like the extra stats
:PowerSupply: :EnhancedMarchers: :IronShield: :Lifetube:
what my early lane items look like,
unless I have great farm or somethin then i'd go straight for RA
i would always get a battery if not power supply, again its made very useful if youre facing spammers like armadon but in general its not a bad pickup unless you are doing so well you can just rush straight to runed cleaver.
if you get stats instead of crits then you have enough mana for spin+ult at lvl 6. mana bat is situational.
I think a lot of people skip power supply because they're trying to get a runed axe as soon as possible
Unless you're mid with a bottle, I'd recommend spending the 200 for a battery at least on pretty much every hero. So versatile an item, turning fights, escapes, mindgames, it can do it all. And also:
Don't try to blow your charges if you are clearly about to die anyways, save them.
If you are using your battery without enemy heros around, you are doing it way wrong.
i wouldn't go crit till 9 at the earliest(so you can get level 2 crit by the time you get level 2 ult) if not even latter. most of your dmg early on will not be with auto attacks.
Mana Battery/ Power Supply is such an OP item its almost blasphemy NOT to get it anymore. Think about it, that instant burst of health and mana could mean the difference between the kill or getting killed.
On Swiftblade though? I don't see how it would be a BAD choice par se, maybe at least to fill a slot whilst farming your big items....
Every hero
every time
I generally get 2 minor totems at the start of the game anyway, so the powersupply is a no brainer.
Upgrading to power supply is personal choice but getting mana battery makes sense in nearly every situation.
