    Eas(iest) Heroes To Play?

Bottom line, I want to play lots of MM games and hopefully I will improve; however, I don't want to be a detriment to the team. Detriment meaning providing more bad than good for the team (negative kd ratios, especially as a Carry, lack of good farm, etc.)

What are some hero choices that are pretty... "idiot proof", that one can play until they really "get" this game?

    witch slayer

    - Spam ur first skill on enemy heroes
    - Spam ur second skill on ur allies
    - Spam ur third skill on ur creeps (unless ur pushing)
    - Use ur ult as soon as you see more than two enemy heroes close together

Easy to play would be Armadon, but you would need need to know what items to build/

-Level up the spines first and hardest, with the other spell being snot storm
(get ultimates at 6, 11, 16 and other spell when the first two are maxed)

    - when in battle, spam the hell out of spines, and spam snot on a target you want to chase down. Remember to auto attack people

    As for items
    - blood chalice (for manna)
    - healm of the black legion
    - shamans headdress (upgrade it to the full item dependent on the game)
    - behemoths heart
    - armor boot things (forgot the name)
    - ???

So recap be brave, spam spins and slow, team will love you

The right way to go about learning the game is playing no stats always randoming, and learning what everyone does. You WILL suck in the beginning, unless you're just the ward *****, and even then you might still screw it up for everyone. Skill comes with experience.

its not about having an easy hero. anyone can play a hero, its about how good you are with that hero that makes it easy imo

Witch Slayer and Plague Rider are good for starters. Pebbles also isn't bad. I'd recommend staying away from Sand Wraith.

Witch Slayer definitely isn't my "guy". Super super squishy, knowing which one to disable requires better game sense, etc.

However: Plague Rider looked pretty promising. I enjoyed going short lane with a Swiftblade, and literally getting a level 1 kill on Vindicator. Ult is pretty easy to use, it's easier to win a lane by denying with my 2nd spell, and the nuke is more efficient.

Anyone else? Maybe an agi hero? Maybe a strength? Maybe a very MOBILE hero? Or one that is like impossible to kill?

I appreciate all the posts soo far.

how hard is it to land magmus stun

    andro has 0 skillshots

just takes balls to play as true support

Don't ever use Magmus if you cant read situations yet...his only most times can only be placed if you can see an opening or already have a Shruken Head+pk already...

Easy heroes...might be Electrician (with a good lane control), Pyromancer if you can start hitting your stun.
Plague Rider as someone said before for lane control=win...
Armadon...deppends of the lane your against so dont go thinking his that good for beginners :<
Another easy Hero in my opinion is Accursed...a "tank" that can support and that isnt easy to kill.
Another "tank" is Legionnaire...but that deppends on the player a good legio farms a pk early...and can start ganking/ruinning ganks early if your new i wouldnt go on it..but you gotta pratic all heroes

I would say Swiftblade or Moon Queen many players that plays them for a first time does pretty well sometimes

I'm a complete newbie at this game as well. Maybe 30 games total so far.

My favorite as of yet is . But she's not for everyone, if you can't land any spells but point-and-click nukes she may not be for you.

I find that I can land *some* skillshots fairly easily. 's skillshots I find are, overall, easier to land, and her laning phase is a BREEZE. Free health AND free mana, plus decent harass with her autoattack.

Her ult gives you complete map mobility so that , or won't **** over bottom while your entire team is prancing around top lane. Sure, you won't be able to use it to the best of its ability, but who cares? You'll be playing low PSR pubs like I am for a while and I doubt ANYONE actually is.

Another good choice, IMO, is . His CC is delayed and he doesn't really have any natural escape mechanisms, and Unbreakable takes a bit of game knowledge (eg, you're thinking "that bloke's gonna die now, isn't he?" rather than "ohgodohgod what's going on" in teamfights), but other than that he's pretty easy to use. His heal gives you early-game sustainability, especially with Chalice, and it's a great pushing tool as well. Wait for melee creeps to line up against eachother and letter rip, bang, creep wave is dead.

If you can't seem to use the offensive part of his ult very well, then **** it, just slap it on your team just before a teamfight and the enemy team will feel like they're trying to beat down a steel barricade with a rubber mallet.

If you don't like support, try or . They're apparently idiot-proof.

Pick a ward ho. They take no skill past learning the 10 common ward spots in the game, basic laning skill, and a decent dose of humility.
    Pharaoh
    - Fixed an extremely rare bug with Ophelia/Nymphora teleporting Pharaoh to fountain and Pharaoh teleporting all the enemy heroes to his fountain

    Plague Rider.

This will always be the correct answer.
Let me spell it out plain for you
Angry people complain about the things I do
I'm not changing direction, I'm stepping my game up
Maintaining my name, the same way I came up.

Truth is, I thought it mattered
    I thought that music mattered.
    But does it? Bollocks!
Not compared to how people matter.

This guy has some pretty good ideas (I started out playing something like 30% Nymphora myself). is great if you can land her abilities, but be careful of her Teleport - until you start to get a handle on the game, don't teleport into enemy territory.

isn't really that idiot-proof. He needs you to master a very specific skill build, playstyle, and skill combo before he's super effective. Wouldn't recommend him, personally.

    Other heroes to try include:

(incredibly easy to get kills with his spin when paired with a slower/stunner, or later using his ult. Learn the basics of how to last hit and farm before playing him, and you'll carry games easily.)

(Toxicity makes him a very good harasser and combined with Poison Spray and his ult will net you kills from the DoT damage alone. Can shine with or without farm.)

(Only two active abilities and a great attack animation. Practice last-hitting and farming a bit before you play him, though, since you'll be expected to hard carry.)

(Paired with a reliable stunner, he's THE big nuker in a side lane. Farms easily with his skills and scales well with items.)

(Charge people and drag them back towards your team. Scales well with items, Horned Strike and Might of the Herd make last hitting incredibly easy. Get a Shrunken Head midgame to survive in fights, as if you get stunned you might be dead quick.)

(Open up a Legionnaire guide and a practice game. Get the basics of stacking, pulling and jungling down, then try it in a real game. As long as you don't forget to help gank the lane near your jungle, you should be in good shape - and you can get a fast Portal Key and proceed to wreck teamfights. You can lane with him too, but it's less effective.
