You can try it in practice
Nomad's ulti will not stun/damage Kraken if he get the Spalsh bonus damage.
I haven't try if that bug is also apply for other damage modifier
I tried also with puppet whiplash and It's doesn't work.
So the problem is with attacks modifier
Or maybe I'm just bad at timings...
...you're really really bad at timing.
It works just fine.
