Replay chat messages disappear

While watching a replay ingame chat and kill messages sometimes disappear after opening up the main screen (default key f6) and talking in a chat channel/looking up stats.

Can't find a way to replicate it reliably.

Any else had this problem?

No mods, problem has persisited throughout various installs/versions.

If we can't reproduce it, its quite hard to even find it.
