From all the reviews I've read and footage I've seen it looks to be worth the price. 15-25 hours of single player (depending on difficulty). Considering MoH and CoD are both 4-6 hours. I enjoy those kinda games for the single player. I'd rather play bad company for a multiplayer FPS.
I heard 12 hours of gameplay. On hard difficulty.
but yes, Crysis 2 will/is worth it - without question.

I can't imagine it being much better than Crysis 1, which was nothing more than a Glorified Benchmarking tool, but then again I havent played any of Crysis 2 demo or anything so I could be wrong.

Don't listen to Sauron`. Crysis, both 1 and 2 are incredible. They set the standard for multiplayer FPS.

You had to add the creativity yourself to enjoy crysis 1. If you went in with a counter-strike mentality "attach crosshair to badguy and finger to LMB" I could see how people could tire of it.

Crysis 1 was kinda just a big open world fps, but only 1 quest is avaliable. And then it got all alieny and terrible. I hear Crysis 2 just starts off alieny.

Indeed. Crysis 1 is like Portals. It wasn't created for amazing gameplay - it was created to test out their engine, and try out different mechanics. They are aware of this. It is also what they have chose to alter in Crysis 2. Sequel is about gameplay, story and being a good shooter - not to run a benchmark while punching people in the face.
It's similar to what Portals is to Portals 2.
Also, in case you weren't aware, Crysis had so many mods, new maps, new games and mechanics, that if you looked into it, your mind would blopen the door. get on the floor. everybody walk the dinosaur.
srsly though, big mod community, which made good games out of an engine meant for testing shizzle ma dizzle- also, there are games coming out on heavenbenchmark engine lol. lol. lol. rape graphics pmuch?

I'd say most of the gaming community would disagree with you on the statement "Portal was just a game mechanic demo not a real game".
Now you're thinking with portals.
99% of those people either didn't own a pc or couldn't run it above 15 fps. the fact you can throw a load of koreans into the back of a truck then blow said truck up should tell you how creative you can be with the game

Yes. There are multiple portals, hence Portals.
It is just a mistake Valve made. They won't admit it, though, so they just stick with the singular, instead of plural. I don't blame them.
