I uploaded an update that fixes both issues. There was a problem in the encoding with the accent. Also, error messages are now displayed correctly.

10/10 Would even spend 5$ on it if i had an Android Handy.

Mine is an Nokiea 6310i though (oldsql!)

Oh, you could make a valid windows app from it if you have a sick amount of free time... the honchat+ is not really good sadly

That's weird. Actually it should support all android versions 1.5+. The Android Market statistics for my app also say that there currently are 2.3.2. Users who installed the app.

Thanks for your reply though, i'll look into it.

Same for me. Got 2.3.2 and the market says it's not compatible.

It's probably gonna take a week or two. Though, i want to release it before university starts (1. may). Price around 3$, i think.

    Anyway, here are some screenshots:

This is the new IM-Window, where all IM-Windows are combined. So you can now chat with anyone and not only people who are on your friendlist.

You can also see the Tabs that are used to navigate to the different windows.

This is the Channel-Chat, now with better coloring. You can go to the userlist by clicking on the Users button.

And this is the Userlist. As you can see it supports colored names and Usericons!

    So, what do you think?
Also: I've got a question for you guys: Would you like the App to be started as a "Foreground Service", which means it will have an icon in the statusbar and the Android-System cannot destroy the app when it's not used. Or would you rather like the App to be in the background like it is now?

i say use do it like normal apps do - start the service only when app is specifically started (and user wants to log in) ... and stop the service completely once the user wants to log out

Totally agreed. Don't start services in foreground. If the user wants to, it will load, when he stops using, unload. Auto-Login at maximum, yes, it will take longer to open the program.
