Yes, and I posted why to support this idea!
No, and I posted why.
In the player statistics, the type of hero you play should show in percentages:
STR: 33% AGI: 10% INT: 57%
Can't be too hard to add if the game can track the heroes most played.
- Sometimes, if you are playing -SD and your teammate doesn't give any hint of what they are playing, you can better guess which they will select by these percentages.
- Stats will have more relevance. A 50% Intel player with a lower K/D is more widely accepted than a 50% Agility player with a K/D < 1.0.

- True, but they are exceptions to the rule. Also, if they play mostly carry, you could see that quite easily through the "Most Heroes Played" and see they mostly play carry, then one would assume that the 10% Intel they have played would be people like Doctor. Also, there are other statistics that do not give you direct information about the type of player one is, but is still given.

Neither does K/D, exp/min, denies/min.... Don't see your point. There isn't much hurt to it. There are some exceptions to the rule, but doesn't mean it's not valid.
Meh... K/d, Gold per min, xp per min, or win rate does sort of tell you a lot about the player and his skill or relative playing style (aggressive/ farmer/ etc). I'm not sure that the attribute thing would really affect anything or matter... but why not I guess.
i think its a nice statistic... so why not. (i guess i would have like 90% int )

Thanks for watching
Bump with format update / additional information. Working on a picture to be added.
I don't really thinks this is necessary. Viewing your teammate's profile would be just as effective because the statistics should be able to explain enough. K/D, GPM, MMR/PSR, 5 top heroes played, etc. This feature would just add more clutter to the profile page.
I do agree that people overreact with the KD, but I tend to look at the win/lose ratio more than the KD, because you have to understand that there are support roles that don't get kills.
A comfortable old age is the reward of a well-spent youth. Instead of its bringing sad and melancholy prospects of decay, it would give us hopes of eternal youth in a better world.
All Pick. My top five are:
I'll probably be picking:
You can't tell that from my K/D, GPM,.... There's too much variables. However, considering that there are 7 intel, 2 agil, and 3 strength in that mix, you have a very good shot at guessing I'll be playing intel by looking at what I normally play.
And I don't believe there is clutter at all, nor do I think that adding this would create clutter. Personally, I think your stat page should be customizable, but that's a whole different suggestion I haven't got around to yet.
It gives you a quick look and who is going to try to carry and who is going to try to play support and how many carries/support heroes you can expect to see on the enemy team.
“Sir, we're surrounded!”
“Excellent. We can attack in any direction!”

I t-up:ed, and now I need to post why? I thought that was your job with the opening post.
Nah I'm kidding, but I like this. Even though it doesn't tell too much as already stated it is a quick indicator of overall playstyle.
It could be a list of roles instead, like % of initiators, % of semi/hard-carries, % of gankers, etc, but it would be too confusing for "amateurs", and would make too big of a list.
So with that said, your suggestion is much better.
I wouldn't mind if it were added. But it really tells you nothing. You still have to watch the most played, which seems to be too annoying for most ppl.
Out of KD, AD, Wards placed, gpm, apm etc. you should be able to make a nice chart, which describes on one view what this player is suited for.
For ech of these categorys the diferrent stats get different Values.
Support might be sth like:
KD/0,5*Wards placed/10*AD/1*100% meaning if you get 1 kill per 2 Deathes one Assist per Death and get 10 Wards placed in each game You're 100% Support-Player.
For Carry on the Contrary:
KD/2*gpm/350*AD/0,5*100% so you need 2 Kills per Death an average farm of 350 and some assits to get 100% carrybility.
You might want to get some more stats to level this out better like: Wards/Time played, Deathes/Time Played and other stuff but I hope I made the Idea clear.
This doesn't help people who don't random alot and say a team wants to pick a support/nuking agi like slither of fayde. So they are judged as carry picking homosexuals
