The end the of Int-carry era

So, with the changes to bloodstone & heart, the typical INT-carrys is getting a real hard time surviving compared to earlier.
Krobelus, Necro & Leshrac could wreck whole teams if managing to get bloodstone/heart/shiva because they were sooo hard to kill.

How do you like this? This indirectly makes agi/str-heroes stronger lategame since int-heroes cant survive (as easily) as before.

I loved to play a lategame int-carry with 10 charges on bloodstone - Zeus were also able to survive a whole lot longer to let his passive deal tons of damage if he had bloodstone/heart - But maybe they were a bit too strong tbh, what do you think?

I'm looking forward to see what happens!

I don't care should be replaced with "Lets see what happends"

Besides in a proper game a int shouldn't carry anways, with the nerf on heart ints will be more powerful late game as tanks can't regen in battle so a couple of good nukes and the tanks are in trouble, I think int heroes are still in there.

Having said that, lets see what happens.

We'll have to see where it goes, pretty hesistant on the heart nerfs though.

Necro and Banshee nearly always guaranteed a completely boring turtlegame, so it's a really good change.
Also, necro still rules with bloodstone.

Torturer now owns even more in with Sacrificial Stone because he doesn't have to hope for a last hit on an enemy hero! Too bad Heart got nerfed too...

It's a good thing on the whole, as has been said necrolyte/krob led to very boring games.

Bloodstone on electrician is now a viable and reliable option

i dont like it and i think its stupid.

evrything was fine. evrything could be countered.

so only agis should carry now and only str should tank now. gz on making the game more boring and killing diversity.

He has no means of regenerating during combat. Bloodstone is only viable as a means of massive mana regen.

yay, now ALL ints die team combat and loose 1/2 of charges. yay and they got no regen for that matter". its an EPIC WIN!!!!
    or 1 bog no
and another no. retarded changes that made it impossible to survive with ints lategame.
good thing i didnt preorder cos atm playing 1/3 of heroes results in feeding lategame.

Stupid nerfs. Especially the Behemoth nerf means that we won't be seeing Defiler anytime soon in a competitive game.

As for the others, it's still viable to go Totem + Staff of the Master, which gives you the needed regen and survivability.

Seems now with the new bloodstone not even leshrac will run out of mana but well, i dont think INT were supposed to carry anyways. Heart doesnt only hurt INT carries... it hurts AGI carries as well

  16. #16
not sure about this. The heart nerf is more annoying for me, but the game play should be interesting with harder time making hard HP carries. I expect less farm fests and more action because of it now.

Its a change of metagame. We just lost the Int carry-tank metagame era, welcome melee metagame era.

It just means that heroes cannot regenerate large amounts of health in combat meaning heroes cannot become so incredibly stacked that they're unkillable.
