Can you include a section about lane pulling that second hellborn camp? Not just how to but when. This one game I was hellborn in a 2-1-2 and i stacked and pulled. When i pulled the camp a second time no legion creeps hit our tower. It turned out that the legion had stacked and pulled the second camp into their creeps evening out the exp. So maybe explain the various situations this might be viable other than the one i mentioned and the method used in doing it. Thanks![]()
Great guide, I like the extensive miniguides for all those heroes. Soulstealer made me laugh.
I would love to see a video on how to harass in a lane well without putting yourself at risk to die, and maybe another graphical guide on which heroes should trilane with who.

To the haters, I am currently 1800, playing support quite often, and I still learnt a few things, specially in the warding section. Looking forward to the counterwarding videos
Why does a guy needs a perfect account with 2000 PSR/MMR to avoid being overlooked ? Read the thing first and make your own opinion, you'll notice pretty fast if it's a decent or a noob player that post something...
Anyhow, good guide overall, hope it will help people play support even just a little better in pubs, thumbs up man !

nice guide, learned something about my terribad warding.
It obviously depends, if you NEED the 5second shutdown (which is quite huge) in teamfights you want to grab one, if you don't, well, Stormspirit, Staff, all that good stuff. Thing is if you play him as sole support which is unusual in the first way already, you will not be able to farm so much so you want to grab very very effective items who are still good late game, just adapt on what you need and you will be fine
btw, Infs vs VFS Scrim with my PoV is now up and got rendered

I really would like to thank you for this guide.
After watching your videos a few times, I'm starting to get the hang of double and triple stacking 2-3 camps at once.
This guide is insane. I've been getting 'thank yous' and 'you're amazing' and so many other compliments from clan mates + randoms.
Here is the reason why playing an excellent support works well in low-mid (my theory anyway):
- Almost everyone wants to play a carry or semi carry or something that gets kills.
- If your team is bad this is what happens 100% of the time: Can't push too far cause team is under-leveled/bad/no items, so the team instead just says "b...b...b...go farm".
- The above happens almost every single game for me.
- Now, you have 2-3 people that go into the jungle and fight over single stack creeps.
- Then they just wait around or slightly push a lane, wait for the new neutrals to spawn, then go back to pathetically farming the jungle.
- Enemy team usually also does this, but if they have a hero kill lead or one/two of their carries are more farmed than my team...then it's like we're delaying the inevitable GG.
Now with this guide, after playing quite a few low-mid games, I've noticed this is what happens:
- Exact same stalemate scenario as what I wrote above.
- HOWEVER, now your carries farm BETTER because the jungle is so stacked, and they actually just jizz their pants the entire time complimenting you because they're GPM skyrocketed to 400.
You all probably already know this, but it's just something I observed. If you stack well, then the stalemate situation is easily overcome in a few minutes when your carries can just farm the crap out of stacked creeps.
I love this guide very much. I've started warding and counter-warding a lot more. I'm trying various support heroes, but my favorite is plague/witch slayerIn fact, focusing on creep stacking and warding has made me die a lot less too as I'm not inclined to go kill heroes anymore.
I really do appreciate this guide a lot. Now I'm focusing on my Myrmidon game and supporting with him, as it looks like I suck with him. His ulti makes you into a good aggressor, but I guess I need more practice.
I hope the OP continues to upload videos of him playing excellent support. I really learn a lot from you.
You should stream on JustinTV and get it registered with Teamliquid.net. Lots of SC2 people will watch your stream (trust me on this) and you can make sick money through ads on JustinTV. There's a streamer named Destiny who showed his stream his JTV account and he said he quit his daytime job to make $60,000/yr through streaming. Just streaming.
Thanks again for these videos bro, I've found my new niche in support heroes.
This should be Premium!
Some things you could might add:
- Add Keeper of the Forest to the support hero section.
- I would really like some more informations about harassment in the laning phase. In 2 - 2 - 1 match ups and tri vs tri harassment is one of the most important aspects to win the lane isn't it?
- Don't know if i missed it but when do you buy a Bound Eye as support?
thx 4 writing this you did a really good job.
e: will the last patch affect the usage of push wards?
btw now i know why I'm only 1600![]()
