After much discussion with my pet snail, and 4 shots of Vodka later:
    Unvote: No lynch
    Vote: Yukari

Let's spice things up again. Except I'm not being as illogical and impulsive as Otolia's day 1.

I'm either making a grave mistake removing what might be an extremely important person from our game or knocking out someone that would only cause trouble. For now I'll stay with my vote. Yukari is there anything you would like to tell us?

    You have successfully confused me

If he admits that he is completely and utterly insane would that help?

No, I'm not insane, but I'll say this. A werewolf game cannot be played without sacrifices, and I feel that it's enough if my team wins, my survival on the other hand, is icing on the cake. If you really want me to explain it, I'll do it after this game, if I still remember what I'm currently thinking

That just mixes me up more... I'm not particularily good at this and right now I'm just closing my eyes and poking.

    Yeah. I really am.
what is the point of posting this? everyone is assumed to be a sapling at the beginning of the game, you dont need to run around proclaiming it, and its one of the reasons why i voted Nomes to begin with.

But. He's acting like roger's friend. See what I mean? He told him to play more carefully because he's worried someone might lynch him. Nobody really cares about that. If someone is playing and they seem hb, you call them hb. you don't say woah there be careful otherwise the others might think youre hb.
im guessing these two posts are referring to this post by me:

the problem is i was pretty much talking for myself there. his first couple of posts were odd and seemingly out of character for a mafia game, so i was looking out for what he'd post next. turns out his posts kept being strange so i threw my vote on him in my very next post.

i cant really agree with this. say we have 15 people on the legion team, 4 of them afk and 6 of them just dont post much or play really passive and only follow the others on the team who have strong opinions, that leaves us essentially with 5 players who are doing all the work and the scum hunting and formulating all the opinions.

combine that with the fact that theres 5 hellbourne in the game, and its pretty much dead even in terms of people really forcing things in the game, that makes it pretty easy for hellbourne, as they just need someone to make a decently strong argument against an innocent person and they can just sway the 6 passive players to pursue that vote.

i dont quite see the point of 'This vote probably will change'. If you vote someone its usually because you actually want them lynched, or you want to pressure them for some responses. saying that your vote will probably change is like 'hey im gonna vote you, but no pressure i dont really suspect you', thats not gonna get any real responses because the person wont really worry about your vote.
    if game.pick_screen?
    unless scout.picked?
    pick scout
    p "mid or feed"
    else
    game.disconnect!
    end
    end

I was going to write something like this, but I decided not to, because I have a general feel of andrex's personality; this being something that is not out of character

As for the tidbit on roger, personally I don't think you should read too deep into it. It was just an ice breaker to get everyone talking. Looking at his play style last game, he's not insecure or idiotic enough to act like it's his first game ever.

Don't worry about it, when I was first introduced into this type of game, I made every mistake possible. I can help you out with some basics if you want to ping me on irc. Naturally I won't disclose anything about my thoughts or position.

the yukari situation is interesting, i dont see any harm in voting him other than losing an active player. but im reluctant to change my vote as of yet.

if he's legion then he clearly has some sort of strategy behind this, thats assuming that he's trying to be productive and help us.

if he's hellbourne then voting him is a good thing anyway.

im curious to hear a more up to date vote or suspicion from Nomes. so far you've just put a random vote on Yukari at the start of the game, which is normal, but we haven't really seen any suspicions or much else from you yet, and you've posted quite a bit.

so are you sticking with the Yukari vote? and what's your opinion of him now that he's self-voted and whatnot?
    if game.pick_screen?

People who write lots simply scare me. For now, I'm going by what Yukari told me, start lynching so we don't waste a day. The irony

Yukari self voted himself and then referenced the Otolia event of last game (Otolia the Scout voted himeslf under pressure on D1), and has been soft-claiming various roles quite a bit. It looks primarily like as if the motives behind this (and his subsequent freakishly numerous amounts of posts - even I seem inactive in comparison) are either:

    1. He's freaking out over a Day 1 RL
    2. He's trying to 'spice up' Day 1

Considering he referenced Otolia's failed French escapade, he's tyring to imply that he's Legion. But at the same time, a Hellbourne player would just as well do this under the subtext that only a townie would do it. This is a classic case of WIFOM, and the only motive for anyone to unvote would not be relevant to their win condition (i.e., even though it's scummy + confusing it's still entertaining).

Voting yourself is basically a green light to let people lynch you as you yourself want to be hung, and if he's giving that green light I see no reason not to oblige.

I'd sing you a song, but
    I'm just a little hoarse.

    Unvote: No lynch
    Vote: Yukari

If anyone wants me to justify my reason, I will. If not my vote stands.

If Yukari is hb or not, i'm sure the game would be more interesting with him around. Unless people bandwagon on anyone else, my vote stands as no lynch.
Universe uses HoN as means for showing us, that no matter the beauty of our plans, or how crafty our strategies are, when you develop a foolproof plan, it develops bigger and better fools. -

Where is Flamestick, he wasn't like this last game. If not Yukari, I would be happy to change my vote to him, I would like to see more of Yukari's bunny.

    What is RL?
Also interesting that you made the reference to WIFOM, however I'll admit, from any other perspective I would suspect the same.

There is a third and fourth possibility that you didn't touch on, however I'll be keeping those to myself. Well technically speaking they're the same principle, just difference cases.

It hurts having the poster boy that I nominated vote against me, so I shall inquire as to your reasoning

I was just kidding, I had no reason :B
HAHA. No it's because Rien (Yukari) voted himself to be lynched. I'm not sure if he was being completely serious or not, but I'm sure this confused people. I've commonly seen people do this on the first night while playing "Mafia" in real life, and when people didn't want to lynch that person, they turned out to be the "Mafia" in the end.
I could be wrong of course, but I don't want to take a chance. Everyone else seemed okay to me, except for the person claiming to be Jereziah so early on.

Edit: I still love you <3

    Thanks Ryoki, that was informative.
No really, I wasn't being sarcastic.
