Chronos is typically considered as one of the hardest carries in the game. So why does Chronos and his ultimate, Chronofield, benefit from Staff of the Master, an item for spell-based heroes? First, let's look at what Chronos gets from SotM:
Staff Effect: Increases duration from 5 seconds to 6 seconds, cooldown lowered to 75 seconds at all levels, and allies are slowed by 80% instead of being frozen.
To me, nobody in their right mind would get this item on Chronos. Chronos needs attack speed and damage to win a game. So why is Chronos on the prestigious list of heroes that can use SotM?
Chronos guides on these forums never list SotM as a core, or even as a viable item, on Chronos. Instead, they favor items like Elder Parasite, Savage Mace, Wingbow, Shrunken Head, etc.
My Suggestion: Remove Chronos from an item list that makes no coherent sense to how this hero operates. If you want to incorporate a more allies-friendly version of Chronofield, I would suggest further that you implement the spell to how it was before when it slowed allies movement and casting without needing SotM or change Chronos' role in the game as more of an initiate-type hero and keep Chronos on the list of SotM-capable heroes.
If people want to get it, let them. Personally, imo, every hero should have their ultimate SoTM'able. No point to remove it.
Do you have an idea how powerful that would make chronos's ult?
thats a retarded suggestion lol

it`s a luxory item.
plus it`s rather nice if u have a lot carries/semi carries in team, who might get cought in the field, so its ok.
it makes the itembuild of chronos a little less 101 xD
