Hi, I wonder what's the "best" Soul Reaper build is. Hotbl? Sac.stone? Please tell me your build with Soul Reaper from starting until end. Imagine playing him as survival semi-carry, not a ward***** if that's what you think..
early astrolabe and plated greaves turn this guy into such a crazy pusher with insane teamfight presence.
other than that, you get the same items that youd get on defiler.
mock for the lulz.
I freaking love the rush mock build.
You will get raped if they dont suck, but if they do, it is so freaking hilarious.
search for .soul reaper or .sr
cbf re-pasting it here.
Let me spell it out plain for you
Angry people complain about the things I do
I'm not changing direction, I'm stepping my game up
Maintaining my name, the same way I came up.
Truth is, I thought it mattered
I thought that music mattered.
But does it? Bollocks!
Not compared to how people matter.
Power supply, steamboots, astrolabe, sheepstick. Then cool items like FFP or Behemoth's heart. Don't forget to pick up a mystic vestments somewhere between the steams and the sheepstick if the enemy is high on magic damage, or even getting a shaman's/barrier idol before/after sheepstick if the enemy is solely magic damage based.

I usually just go for heal spams, Boots of your choice>Mana ring>SpellShards>Behe's
53 sec cd on ult and 3.8 sec cd on nuke makes things a little lulzy.
You could build blood chalice instead of mana ring, but blood chalice seems kinda useless to me now.
If you want to support more, go for Stormspirit, the extra MS is pretty good.

There is no magic point when armor becomes worse or hp becomes worse. If you have alot of armor its just that +HP becomes more effective and not that +armor becomes less effective.
And just stacking armor on SR without at least some HP is pretty dumb, when you calculate the EHP, also every team has at least some magic burst you want to survive.
(this is no argument against astrolabe since it gives you 250 hp +5strg too)
The difference between 50% reduction and 60% reduction is still somewhat noticable, but at that point you were better off just spending your gold on pickups that increase your HP instead of focusing on more armor, which like you said will help you vs. magic/true damage.
With that said, more armor is obviously always nice against negative armor teams.

It does not realy diminish, its as i said it scales with with HP. The step from 0% reduction to 50% means you get +100% EHP. And the step from 50% to 75% means you get +100% EHP . (1k HP 0%-->1k EHP, 1k HP 50%-->2k EHP, 1k HP 75% --> 4k EHP...)
While armor gives you less reduction, the reduction in itself becomes stronger. Every point of armor gives you 6% of you HP as a bonus to your EHP, regardless of your actual armor. You will just reach a point where +HP gives you more for your gold, but this depends on the HP you have. Stacking 15 armor on a 800hp SR is dumb(HotbL gives you >+37% Hp), but on a 1.3k HP SR its a complete different story.
My dream build is:
Atleast when Heart gave Int reduced cooldown
3.8 cd judgement was just so much fun - RIP 2.0 heart.
But really it matters on the lineup - how many dps heroes u have versus support.
edit: port key was fun too - just matters how willing i am 2 make frostwolfs
