Yes, minor flaws may exist, and the overall idea is good
This item need a major remake, but the basic idea is good
This idea will never fit in HoN, and i stated why in the comments.
First of all, this is my first post on this forum, I'm a know contributator on the playdota forum (Known as Sgt Failure) and thought I would give this a try. Even though I mostly lurk DotA, I'm a huge fan of HoN, and plays around 5-10 games daily, since the closed beta begun basicly.

"Gives the wielder the power to drain order out of chaos, and to shift into the etheral realm, harnessing its energies for himself."
This item contains an Attack modifier. Attack modifiers are exclusive and do not stack with other attack modifier.
This items Lifesteal ability will not only work on attack, but also any other damage done to player owned units. This counts in spells, passives and even returned damage.
Passive Bonuses
7 Agility
7 Strength
7 Intelligence
250 Mana
12% Lifesteal
Activation
Targets: Self
50 Manacost
Cooldown: 25 seconds
Applies Ether State to self for 5 seconds.
Ether State effects
-5.5 Magic armor
Disarmed
Physical Immunity
All health gained is doubled
Effect is lost when becoming magic immune, and cannot be used while magic immune.
Lifesteal on spells is limited to 6% of max health per second.
Reason: What this does is adding an alternative orb effect to casters and carries who also relies on heavy AoE damage, such as Zephyr, Sandwraith and Soulstealer. While the upgrade itself may not fit a physical carry, it is an awesome escape-mechanism and can turn around battles. With the active on, it is basicly 24% lifesteal from spells, making it a huge factor in teambattles. Although making the user much more vulnerable to focus, used right this can negate the enemy carry while focusing an easy support player.
For the items, Void Talisman is underused, as every knows and can see. Hungry spirit is used in 2 recipes already, but giving its versitale effect, I think that it could fit an item such as this prefectly, giving another orb effect to casters and nukers. The pickled brain fit in the recipe, and gives it an alternate use to Ring of Sorcery for heroes who need the pool, not the burst regen.

I just played a game with torturer and I had the void talisman already so this item would have been godly![]()
No, simply no, that's waaay too high percentage lifeteal for spellcasts BUT, lowering this numbers would actually make it a decent attack modifier since the only one they really have is harkons blade. Also, AoE spells such as pyromancers stun should have a maximum ammount being able to drained, let's say 33% of the spells destription damage so basically he would maximum be able to leech 100 hp even if he hit targets for 1500 total damage with it which would otherwise give him 360 hp if it was active (abit too much imo)
Trying to figure out all uses of :TabletOfCommand:
Not as easy as it seems!
Thanks for all the replies, changed the numbers into a scaling max-heal on spells, what do you think of it?
Hell of a shrunkens addition for SR, Torutrer and Defiler. Like it!
Excellent item - finaly some good choice for casters. Could S2 judge? =)
I think you should take away the Void Talisman. It doesn't fit in my aspect.
But I love the lifesteal on spells. Realy good idea. T-up
Very good item actually..really liked th concept..
you should create a 2 choice poll![]()
