Just won a game 65/35 in their favour, only 1600's vs us 1500's. Needless to say we expected a defeat, and their blue player picked sw. Starts off with witch slayer leaving after 15 min.
We rage because we know we'll lose but our chronus calmly states he will win this for us. 5 deaths later he's almost flamed to death by our mid tb who only ks and never left his lane. Needless to say we almost gave up.
Here comes the weird part, our chronus did actually beat the living sh*t out of sw. And they were fairly matched inventwise. Weirdest game ever.
We shouldn't have won that game.
65/35 balance, 1 leaver, a freefarming sw against us.
Ended with 22/6 chronus and we won.
So Chronus beats sw fair and square.
So how come everyone in the trashbracket of 1500+-150 mmr keeps crying about sw when a chronus rapes even harder?

SW crushes entire teams, Chronos kills 1-2 people in between being stunned, hexed, and just generally kept under control.
I wine about SW being OP. Everyone in 1750+ wines about SW being OP. Cause SW is OP, he presses "r" and wins the game, kind of lame don't you think?

Also, it's the 1500/1600s who say SW is fine. He doesn't rape those games nearly as hard as DW/Pebbles/SS do. It's the higher level games with proper wards and babysitters (or worse, trilanes) where SW is ****in retarded.

sandwraith's build was straightup magic damage, charm on chronos probably just gg'ed the game.
that and you also got your two imba aoe global nukers blowing **** up whenever chronos throws an ulti.
if sandwraith did a more carry to carry type build it probably wouldn't have gone the same way.
i didn't even have to watch the replay, but now you know. and KNOWING.. is half the battle. you're welcome.

*scratches head* i'm looking at sandwraith's farm for a 1 hour game and it's incredibly bad; the moment you get mock your gpm should skyrocket to 400+ or you're doing it wrong. especially in a 5v4 situation.
hotbl, mock, and behe heart are givens when doing that build, but where's the FWS? nullfire? geo? FWS would've obliterated the rest of chronos team fast, nullfire would allow him to purge the charm/jera ult off, geo would give him the movement speed he needs and rape any hero 1on1 due to deserted procs (not to mention triple mana burn when combined with nullfire). since there's an extra item slot needed the best choice would've been to dissassemble the hotbl for the behe heart and throw away the lifetube or make a nullstone out of it. but yeah, the key items that would've allowed him to carry just weren't there.
the snake bracelet and barbed were just fail, barbed doesn't work very well when the chronos is lifestealing everything back and has shrunken/charm on him. wait a second, it doesn't work at all lawl.
tl;dr - fail sandwraith didn't know how to carry his team, gg

I just got raped by SW in a 1500-1600 MM game as Pyro. He solo'd against empath and swift and somehow got farmed and out levelled them. Then he just used ult and killed me any time I didn't have another hero in a 2000 radius of me. I was like 2-16 or something, but we still won because he didn't know how to build the proper items.
would me showing you a 1200 psr game with a legionnaire going 20-0 convince you that legio is OP?

Chronos probably won because of lucky rewinds. Especially rewinding dissipates and especially if he got Elder Parasite.

Yeah. Sorry I must have missed your post. Jereziah's magic immunity will pretty much nullify most of sandwraith. Even his deserted won't do any damaged. Mock and barbed wouldn't work. That's it. Jereziah is the counter to sw as long as you have a semi reliable carry on your team.
deserted is true damage so it bypasses SH and charm. If sandwraith bought fws and nullfire instead of barbed and heart(heart is good, but fws better) the matched had been completly different. Jeraziah stuff? NP, i'll just purge it with nullfire. Chronos imba attackspeed? NP, i'll just get a fws and make him attack slow as hell

You are completely wrong. True damage ignore magic armour but is blocked by magic immunity.
So tell me why deserted and gladi's whip does damage through shrunken head then?

some true damage spells are a magic spell even though it deals true damage .....
tb and bomb are probably the most imba heros in the game right now, and if the other team is too stupid to get a nullfire then jereziah is even better.
the other team also did not have any burst damage at all, and no disables that would do more than inconvenience chronos temporarily, or do nothing at all with jerez there and no nullfire to stop his spells.
burst damage gankers can obliterate chronos instantly, all the way to level 25. he will also get disabled hard in team fights against good players.
and by burst i dont mean heros like pharoah and hag, i mean heroes that will kill him even if rewind procs on every single spell they cast. his hp is completely pathetic.
you were playing against a bunch of idiots who did nothing to counter you.
sw isn't insta win you still need to buy the right items.
