    Project PRODEX

    Heya Strategy people.

Me and Cawk have recently taken it upon ourselves to make an application that produces mini-guides (1 per hero) and vital information for all heroes in HoN. It's a work in progress. This is not an S2 project, but something me and Cawk are doing in our free time.

Link to the latest version of Prodex
    Currently works to: Glacius
If it isn't loading, I'm uploading.

The goal of Prodex is to give new players an insight to each hero's role, a short summary, a cookie-cutter standard item build, and a cookie cutter skill build. And some protips. These skill builds and recommended items are designed around pub games and not around synergistic with a specific team (ie: a Push team, etc). Take them with a grain of salt.

I'm currently adding heroes from left to right, top to bottom. So basically first all the agility heroes, then int, then str.

What I would ask of you:

    • Critique item and skill builds
Keep in mind these are supposed to be cookie cutter pub builds. In other words: You, a professional player are playing a 1500 public game and you just picked a hero at random and aren't allowed to look at what heroes the enemies have: What skills/items would you get? In General, please don't be too harsh, but feel free list what you disagree with but BACK IT UP WITH A REASON
    • Add Protips that you feel are beneficial.

Thanks in advance for any help you provide

Only a few heroes have been done.

    Looking good Nigma.
Last I checked only 2 heroes had been done lol.
Once complete I think something like this should get implemented in HoN, it would be invaluable for new players learning the heroes.

Good idea, though an in-game mod of it will be more awesome (ofc when its done)

The only problem I see is that everyone will get this mod, so every pub will be a mini Nigma walking around doing exactly what he does on that character XD.

Buy the courier at the beginning of the match. This magically frees you from the responsibility of buying wards.

Considering the current state of people first picking flint beastwood and auto attacking creeps all game, I don't personally see a problem with this

    This is great.

Small typo in Arachna's description: "..slowing her opponants down"

on andro stun should be maxed before stats. The damage is just worth more.

This is really game-dependent if you ask me, don't think you can just STATE that.

Unless you put codex as Scout's core item.

    Skout guide by nigam*

But being a Scout expert such as yourself surely you know that you need Phase Boots on Skoutface.

Also, with the map changed your protip "Use Logger's Hatchet to cut a tree near the bottom rune" is wrong, since you actually need to cut at least two trees to get the ward down now.

I'd sing you a song, but
    I'm just a little hoarse.

Just a few notes on the protips:
I know it is fairly obvious, but you should still mention that Andro Aurora is excellent for knocking off potions (and can be used to creep stack if timed right).
In the description for nighthound, it makes it sound like staying in the cloud protects you, when the enemy has to be in the cloud for it to work.
Last point, I haven't seen Zephyr jungle in a long time, so you may want to make a note somewhere that it isn't something you would want to try from level 1.

So far it looks pretty good though, nice job.

    Semi Carry, Mid lane
    Starting items: :HealthPotion::HealthPotion::PretendersCrown::Mino rTotem::MinorTotem::MinorTotem::MinorTotem:
    Early items: :PowerSupply::Steamboots::Bottle:
    Mid: :Portalkey:
    Late: :ShrunkenHead:
    Luxury: :Shieldbreaker:/:GeometersBane:/:AssassinShroud:/:Wingbow:/:FrostwolfsSkull:
    Skill build: 2/1/1/2/1/2/1/2/4/3/4/3/3/3/stats/4/stats

protips: Focus on farming your lane early, only gank if you are lvl 3 or higher and have an invis or haste rune.
Blink on top of enemies and ultimate for full damage. Be careful of being stunned and getting focused.
2 lvl 4 hands will kill creep waves. Switch steamboots to intelligence while fast farming with hands to save mana.

Starting items with for me are uckBoots: uckBoots: :MinorTotem: :MinorTotem: :RunesOfTheBlight: :HealthPotion:

I suppose it differs per person ofcourse, but it's like that with alot of heroes.

That's why I agree not to add Starting items (like is done in prodex) and just early game items.

Those I agree with the poster above me on, steamboots, bottle (psupply) (optional: bracers)

am disagreeing a bit with the night hound section, imo he is a good ganker + can play mid. on top of that, you have said he has little presence in lane: It's like you're underestimating the cloud.

Otherwise, i really like the idea, and agree with the guides.

    Ganker/Semi-Carry
Early Game: :Steamboots: :Bottle: :PowerSupply: (Optional: :TalismanOfExile: :TalismanOfExile: *)
    Mid Game: :Nullstone: / :StaffOfTheMaster:
    Late Game: :KuldrasSheepstick: :FrostfieldPlate: :ShrunkenHead:
    Luxury: :HarkonsBlade: :FrostwolfsSkull:

Generally Hag is considered a hit'n'run style hero because of her low cooldown blink ability. You blink in, cast your spells, and blink out. This requires her to have some sort of survivability (Nullstone/Shrunken/SotM)

    Tips
#1 - The range of scream is longer than it's animation shows at max level, use this to your advantage to last hit creeps and harass the opponent at the same time.
#2 - Your blink is your main skill for positioning. When a teamfight occurs make sure to blink yourself into a good position to land your ultimate on as many enemy heroes as possible.

    * These are gotten if early game is difficult and stats are needed. It is based on the starting items ( :MinorTotem: :MinorTotem: :MarkOfTheNovice: :MarkOfTheNovice: :RunesOfTheBlight: :HealthPotion: )

Not sure why you guys are posting about ones I haven't done yet, I'm mostly asking for corrections regarding existing ones.
