The Legion Civilized is under new leadership and looking to expand! LC is a HoN clan for friendly and mannered members of the community. The most important part of HoN is not winning or raging, but having fun while winning or losing. As such raging or general bad manners will not be tolerated. Instead, we encourage players of all skill levels to help others improve and play matches together.
Why join LC? We are a friendly community where we can play MM games and IH's for the enjoyment of the game, leaving out all the rage.The Legion is a mostly USE clan but we have members in EU and USW as well. LC also has a 50 person mumble server (similar to ventrilo), and we have an active forum located at http://forum.lc-clan.org/
Even though LC is a HoN clan we have members who also enjoy playing Minecraft, SC2, L4D2, etc. with each other.
To join the clan type "/join clan The Legion Civilized" in any chat channel, then type !register (in the clan channel) to register with the bot. Contact an officer for an invite. By doing this you will be accepted as a member for a probationary period where other members vote whether you can follow the guidelines of the clan.

I don't really know what to write about this clan. I've been in LC since I started playing HoN and I've always enjoyed the great environment and the many friends I got through playing with the clan.
I'm a lot online lately, organizing TMMs for our actually growing EU group (during the evening hours we always got aTMM groug running, sometimes there's 2 or even 3 if the US-guys chime in )

I kinda suck, know the theory much better than being able to execute it. So, you won't see me doing things like stupid builds or auto-attacking, but you will see me being out of position and having a stupid death, or missing denies and last hits.
Best heroes = and support . Trying to get good at . I enjoy a good game, but find she's just not scalable and usually end up with a mediocre game.
Current MMR = 1050ish. I "feel" like I should be 1300ish, but am not naive enough to say my suckitude is not my fault.
I am older than the avg HON player, have a wife and family. I am trying to treat this game as a nice 1-2 hour escape at the end of long days. At least until Diablo 3 is released. I only really want a friendly team atmosphere, where winning is important but not IMPORTANT enough where people rage over everything and do not communicate, both talking and listening.
What bugs me most is people who don't understand basic build strategies, and people who do not talk or listen. Two examples, a last night who got ghost marchers and rushed a runed axe(with sustainer last item), did not get a single regen item (runes, bottle, nothing) or str item(bracer). He ended up being 2-hit by anyone and dying, or going back to well after every spin/ulti combo to refill mana. And, the who was AFK for 2 minutes at beginning, by time he rejoins is already mid and doing well. DEMANDS mid, refuses to go to lane. When I end up dying twice solo laned against a and , he then starts broadcasting how his team sucks and gg and we're all losers for not ceding mid to him(even though he would be underleveled). His final items were naked boots, steamstaff and bottle.
So yes, I'll miss my ulti once in awhile, and not be aware of an incoming gank that I should catch. I'll own up to it, ask for help on how to do better, and be a friendly guy who'll buy wards when needed and try my best while acutally listening to advice. I understand these type of mistakes much better than the examples given above.
I have nothing but praise for the Legion Civilized, over the past year and a half, I have had the pleasure to play both Minecraft and Heroes of Newerth with them, and it's always been joyful.
@Getoffmylawn - Absolutely, you're exactly the type of player we're looking for (attitude wise). I was at your level (probably worse, actually) when I joined LC. I haven't got amazingly better, but I can get myself to 1500-1550 when I try. And that is all thanks to LC.
