I want to create/code a skillshot-based archer.
Basically all of her (him?) abilitys work like Valkyries Javeline, of Chippers rockets.
i'm thinking of fire-shot (leaves a fire-trail), ice-shot (stuns enemy)... and so on, or something more original (depends on your suggestions). the only thing I'm pretty sure of yet is the ultimate. A global arrow (like Pharaos Tormented-Soul) that pierces through anything in it's path.
So yeah, please bombard me with ideas.

Hi there. You gave this link to me, and I have to admit I'm glad what I'm seeing What I mean is, I'll be happy to help. I also had ideas like that before, only mine didn't include fire and ice. So, you want skillshots. Firstly, I have a hero in the works (this is not an advertisement) which has a cool skillshot, and you could take a look at it, and see if it inspires you or something. Ok, now what type of skillshot do you exactly want? A ground targeted focused spell, which hits only a certain area, like FA's Volley, or DW's Grasp? Or do you wish for a line nuke, like Powershot (from DotA, and I know you haven't played it, but it doesn't matter), which is almost the same as Valk's Javelin, but it only deals damage, and has almost instant travel time (1700 range)? I could even go for a front volley skill, like a combination of FA's Split Shot, and Volley, in the manner that it shots many arrows in front of you, like Split Shot, and each deals damage and has a really small hit radius? That could be the ice arrow, so it either stuns, or slows, and that the slow stacks, and deals a stun with enough stacks (2-3 max). Or you could follow the pattern of Rotten Grasp, and have the hero shoot an arrow (maybe the fire one), and the arrow deals damage upon landing, and leaves a small circle of fire that has a DoT. You can also make the ice arrow have a number of charges (like Moraxus' Axes), and that they deal damage in a line (probably long range), and slow and/or stun enemies hit. You can also have a toggle skill which modifies your attack to either have a slow (for ice), or a DoT (for fire). You can also add bonus effects to either, such as having the fire attacks reveal their target, and the ice reducing their vision per stack. You can also have a channeling arrow, which deals damage based on the channel time? Maybe the fire/ice attack toggle can make the 1st skill a stance dependant nuke; in fire stance you have a fire arrow, and in ice an ice arrow? This would leave more place for the 2nd skill to be whatever you like, depending on the role which you want your hero to have; a disable for a ganker, some scaling passive for a carry, or some supportive skill for a supporter. It all depends on you, and these are only suggestions. I would also love to play any hero you tend to code, because I'd really like to have a chance to test your designs in-game. If you have some other ideas, and you need help on how to make them playable, I'm sure you'll answer
