All good imo!

1st - #4, I'm diggin' the background/effects.
2nd - #3, I just really like the colors, plus the text.

1st: #5, By far the best, Has multiple effects and a stature story being told.
2nd: #2 The only one that could compete for second place, at least they know what layers are.

To the rest of the contestants, good work, but a simple smudge and layer isn't going to top it.

#5 - Great composition and flow
#1 - Love the colours. Sort of abstracty.

C&C:
#2 - Good blending, but it's too blurred. Lack of creativity going with a HoN theme
#3 - Awesome background but render is not blended at all, let alone rendered properly.
#4 - Too big. I like the simplicity. but could have been blended better and the background could be better (rather than just a smudge)

i vote #1 and #3 in that order.

first: #1 I love simple sigs that have a good... tone.
second: #4 Pretty good, just too big imo to get the first.

1st: #5 - The best composition of them all IMO, and it has some good effects. A tad too sharp though.
2nd: #3 - Good comp, good coloring, best text of the contestants.

#1 - I really like the coloring you did there, the smudge is pretty good too. The border and the text brings it down though.
#2 - Way too blurred, and I don't really enjoy the colors on it. Text could use some work too.
#4 - I like your smudging in the background, but the alien really lacks some depth and it doesn't really look like it's connected to the background. Coloring is good, except from on the alien itself.
