Running HoN on an older system, vid card is fine but only 1GB of RAM which doesn't seem to be enough. Just wondering if I can change any graphics settings to reduce RAM usage?
I believe the "Model" ones should affect memory usage, others as well, try lowering them all.
You most likely won't be able to play with 1GB of RAM though.
The only thing that will make much difference is texture size. You won't get it below 1gb, though. Another 1gb stick would probably cost $20, which is quite cheap and will help your whole computer run faster.
I got 2 Gb of RAM, and I still got lagg-spikes (Not Internet one). I'll try with reducing textures, although, it ran quite smoothly on win XP (Got win7 now).
