i just had a wonderful game and i was about to win with my team as we were 4. i was a big part of the team and then i got this stupid error: the host has banned you from this match.

you should check that thread. full of complaines that GM's don't even take a look there. i have already posted there, but since than it happened 2 more times.
i lost rating, and gained more % of leaver and i'm really close to be a leaver just because of servers crashes. i might have left a game 3 times in all the time i play, and all the other "leaves" are just because of game crash. this is outraging, why do i need to take the punishment while those servers are the main fault?

got disconnected twice and was able to get back in twice immediately.

then I got a pop up box that says

"Disconnect

The host has banned you from this match."


Now my team has to try and 4v5 when I was the one with all the kills. Chances are I will get a leave on my record also.

That just happened to me as well.

It started with messages saying that I was disconnected from the chat server and that it was reconnecting me. When that happened my friend said the system told him I had logged out, but I was still in the game playing. It said it was trying to reconnect to the chat server 5 times, and then on the fifth failure I got disconnected from the game and logged out of the online system with an error message saying something about the system being unable to authorise my account (or my connection?).

I clicked login right after, got back in and reconnected to the game. A minute or so later I got the same chat server problems again. It disconnected me again but that time, I tried reconnecting, I got the message "The host has banned you from this match".

I tried restarting HoN twice and got the same message each time I tried to reconnect.

I tried entering another game so that I'd be removed from the match (to prevent people from feeding with me and so that they could get my items sooner), but it didn't remove me until the five minute disconnect timer went down. The game's still going on now so I dunno if it'll give me a leave as yet and I don't know how to check the game ID.

UPDATE: It went in as a disconnect. The match ID is 32850124.

So far, every match I've checked shows the player being disconnected due to a duplicate login and the account stats show a login from a different IP. If you got disconnected and didn't get an error message saying "you must stay logged in," post a match ID.

Same thing just happened to me tonight for this exact reason. Would it be feasible to implement a system like the old battle.net that stopped a double login from happening instead of disconnecting the original person?
