If you hover your mouse over the 'learn more about matchmaking', you can see that you are supposedly awarded X number of experience points and Y number of coins.
However, say I get my 10th smackdown, nowhere in the post match stats does it show the extra 50 experience I was supposed to have received. It does show the extra 1 gold I got. I clicked through some old matchmaking games of mine where I passed marks such as 250 kills, 250 assists, etc, and I never seem to receive the experience from these 'acheivements'. Am I misunderstanding something?
I believe you do get the experience, since I have gotten gold coins from these bonuses and had a very large gain of exp as well. It just doesn't tell you I'm afraid. So as long as you get the coins, you should get a boost to your exp too.
It doesn't show it anywhere, but I'm 99% sure you'll still get the XP. At one point I was wondering why the xp-bar only changed a little bit for a game where I got a win and the first of the day (50 exp alltogeather if I'm not mistaken), but the next game the xp bar changed a lot even when it was a loss. But I got 50 wards and 250 assists in that game.
Make that a hundred. I've been watching this closely for about 30 games, checking what actuall stat went up and how it correlated with the exp gain, and it really does work, it just doesn't show you the same as coin gain (which is a pity interface shortcoming, but that's another thing).
