Lack of appropriate technical support sub-forum/server wide replay problem

This does not seem to really fit into any of the current sections in the technicaly support forum, but I noticed that a lot of people have been posting threads about replay problems here, so here it went.

I have run into a small period of time on the 29th, where replays seem to have simply not been uploaded to the website/ingame repository. I suspected at first that it may just take some time to be uploaded, but after 3 or so days of no change, i figure its probably not going to happen.

This brings me to my question: Is it possible for someone to find out whether those replays still exist somewhere and can be recovered? There is a specific replay I would rather like to be able to get hold of, to settle a bit of a clan dispute. This is the replay for match #24817050.

Also, just as a suggestion, if this is something that happened due to the scheduled maintenance period that seemed to happen around the same time, it would be really nice if someone could post a thread in the forums mentioning that this is likely to happen to replays during that time, so people who rely on them dont get confused about why they aren't there.

Also, just on a side note, it seems that there are enough threads being made about missing stats or replays that there should probably be another sub section of the technical supprt forum to cover them, at least that way people will know their posts are going in the right place, and they will be out of the way instead of in the elementary help forum detracting from people that need real help with the troubleshooting process.

Hi Gryff,

Generally, if you can't access a replay after a few hours (maybe up to a day), you will never be able to. In such a case, for whatever reason, it wasn't saved, and we have no way of recovering it. Sorry.

I don't think a subforum for replay issues is necessary, as the only thing I can think of that could cause replay issues, that we can assist you with, is having mods installed, and the Wiki tells you to disable those, I believe.

If you can't access it after days of waiting, then we won't be able to recover it.

However, whatever is causing replays not to save at some times, we are doing our best to resolve.
