I wonder how the fk am i supposed to make it to the 1600? I usually play support/harasser,

bcuz no one else wants to. When i play support the carry dosent know how to last hit and most often dosent know when he needs to buy :ShrunkenHead: or :Nullstone:. When i try to tell them why they need will they most often respond; omg u n00b i need my savage mace l2p look at your kd. Ive just reseted my stats bcuz i was embaressed by my KD ratio (0.58 at that time) and bcuz of my leaver percantage.
So to day when i play'd my 2 first games idc about if we had no supporter and it actually went pretty well. So my question is; How am i supposed to make it to 1600 with an avarage KD ratio? Without playing carry.*
Play pubs, friend people who you think are decent, play with them. Or you can go to clan recruitment and find a clan to play with.
I'm a support player myself, I know that it's pretty hard to play support in pubs since you rarely meet carries who actually know what they are doing, so if I'm playing by myself, I pick a mid hero and proceed to stomp.

Support is not useless in the 1600 bracket, most cases people who try to play support at that level are terrible at playing support and don't understand the role.
A farmed noob on a carry hero is better than a non farmed noob on a carry hero. Continue to play what the team needs and when you get better you will get out of that bracket over time, no one gets stuck with more bad players than anyone else, its you, not your team.
I see more carries play their hero correctly in 1600 brackets than I see supports playing their hero correctly. A good support can be just as influencial to a victory as a good carry. Knowing when to go for the kill, and when to give it to the carry. Knowing when to push and when to save the farm for the carry. Knowing WHERE to ward and warding with out dying. I have won seemily lost games by stacking the crap out of neutral camps and ancients essentially doubling my carries farm.

Play harder gankers likeHelps give more room for the dumb carries to farm and buffs your kdr. You can still make it to 1600 playing support, I did anyway and my kdr 0.6. Sadly though, I have fallen back to 1500s

Demented Shaman was my fav hero before S2 gave me a free stats reset.
And i play a mean as demented shaman for the 1500 bracket. He's probably my fav hero, because he can fit into almost any lineup.
but besides that, kdr and psr are meaningless when looked at alone. you need to be gauging all of a person's stats. i.e. a .8 kdr 1550 glac with a 68% win ratio and 3.8 wards placed per game is probably going to rape face an 1890 madman with 34% win ratio who played 87% em games.

u can play good dshaman or good ws that farms lil bit 2 or someone even like slither that goes semi-support trixi stylo
when i play dsham all i do is ward *****.
and then i tell my gankers, hey im putting wards up, come to the ****ing forest with me so we can get some kills. i usually try to get nomes or an astrolabe, i think i usually finish one, but never both. and wards are always on cd in the shop. always.
i usually stop right behind the camp we find someone farming just out of LoS, and then ultie and cape my ganker pre-fight in case he's a retard and doesn't get out after he burst dps's the target.
so many hags will blink in, ult, scream and slow, then sit there autoattacking and tanking like 900 damage. idiots.

Just play better?! You say you loose coz your carry doesnt buy bkb or null, well theirs prolly doesnt either. Since you are an awesome support player your carry will still get more farmed then theirs (bcuz both suck at lasthitting). And your whole team will benefit from your warding and and and... . As long as you play better then the others and pick a hero that fits your team and/or is strong vs theirs you will on average win more often then loose and thus get psr. PSR > KDR always.
he could have got to 1890, and then never won a game again and still not lose any psr by joining games in a much lower psr tier.
ever notice in a 1400 game, when 1700 player joins he is often +/- 0 psr?
regardless, i was just making up numbers to prove a point. stats are meaningless unless taken into perspective.
upto ~1650 you should play a semi carry for an easy time. Past that people are somewhat reliable and you /can/ play whatever.
I would take the 1890 psr player even if he is a Em player over a 1550 normal mode glacuis with 64% win ratio.
Even if u knock him for his em game play, your still looking at someone who is atleast 1800 psr player. YOu dont get there unless u got skillz regardless of the mode.
You could always play semi-carry.
Or play with friends who can carry, and support them.
