I have the same problem here aswell. It's not the router because my brother does play perfectly fine. And I shouldn't have to turn my firewall off to play matchmaking when it does with a friend, who DOES have his firewall turned on! The weird thing is that if you try it for 40 times you might get in once or twice. But after that it's all bogus again.
It would be futile to post my console log here because I doesn't seem that S2 is looking at them. 2.0.16 and still not fixed. It's getting really annoying. And I'm losing my patience.
I payed for a product that I can't use, how is this fair? THIS IS MADNESS!
Same problem here. The log looks kinda like this:

If I try it like 20 times sometimes it works... a pity this isn't fixed after three months.
Ok everybody, I logged in into my Cisco Cable Modem and found the fix for me. The following settings under Setup --> Firewall - Options were enabled:
IP Flood Detection & Firewall Protection
After disabling both my connection problems were fixed.
I have a Asus RT N-16 Router with Tomato Firmware
How do you disable the firewall as I don't see an option for it?

I have the same stupid problem! I can't see public games and get "No response from server." !!! FIX IT!!!

My brother is getting the exact same problem when he tries to join games. I invite him to the group we wait for the game to begin, when a game is found I load and see that everyone else has a green circle except for him, his is grey. When mine disconnects his stays searching for a while after then eventually says... No Response From Server... Should be a fix for this by now come on guys.

I still have a problem with the "no response from server" problem... It's been more than 2 months with this problem and still no fix...
