intended :P
Just as a 'Curse' in many RPG games it's unremovable through any means and as such you SHOULDN'T be able to deny.
You can however lower the tick damage by healing. Element User, does a heal lower the 'damagetaken' after curse?
Yes, the damage is based on the value of HP of when you first inflicted the curse.
The damage done on each magic tick is (0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4)*(HP_Curse - Current HP). If this value is negative then it simply does 0 damage, depending on the level.
Also it doesn't go through Bubbles' Take Cover - that's a lie. Also being undeniable is intended & is a balancing mechanic.

that ppl are not deniable sure is intended, but the ticks through take cover...
just to make clear, what we are talking about: you got cursed ground, got about 100 hp left from original 1500 hp, 1 sec before the last tick would kill you, you activate take cover and while being invulnerable, you still eat the last tick and die, am I right?
*edit: would be sick if magic dmg went through magic immunity Oo

i can answer that, yes.
the dmg is calculated from dmg taken since the curse is applied (including from earlier ticks of CG) so if you heal away the ticks through various menas, the dmg will lessen.
EDIT: damn im a bit slow

yeah I knew the ticks dont go through take cover, thats why I was wondering what OP said in the first place, thats why I wrote it, to just make clear what situation OP is talking about
im quite familiar with the game mechanics :P
shall I edit my first post, so ppl who dont read whole threads and start flaming after the first posts arent confused? (no offense against you element, youre doing a great job, just recognized you could see this as an offensive exclamation against you. man its hard to always look what you write and think carefully about it :/ )

other heroes can also avoid the damage. Chronos can jump right as a tick is about to come (that one i have seen and tested). And I believe magmus can lava surge right before and not take the damage.
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night

magic immunity overall like shrunken or jera will protect you from the application of the spell, but once you got the curse, they will only block the dmg for their duration
Just played a game as electrician and tried to save someone from CG. My ult didn't purge a thing. I'm assuming nullfire blade would be similarly useless. Intended? If so, OP?
It's a strong ability but it has a short range and small radius that make applying it more difficult than most other spells.
Purge does remove Status Debuff from ally (All litle icon with Red outline) , And it remove Status Buff on enemys (All litle icon with Green outline) .
Cursed ground Apply a status modificator which is not flagged as a Debuff or as a Buff (All litle icon with Blue outline) . So no it can not be purged .
Is it OP or not = Strategie talk (not the right place to discus of that)
