Hello, yesterday me and my brother along with another clan buddy were playing HoN's matchmaking. Both me and my brother play in the same room, he plays in his laptop and I play in the Desktop PC.
Around the 19:15 mark (replay time) my brother (Hammerstorm) disconnected. We paused the game once. Then the enemy team unpaused. As my brother is in the very same room as me I saw he had already started HoN, so I didn't pause again. His reconnect timer had like 4 minutes left (4 MINUTES!) at around 12:00+ you can see that the reconnect icon (the clock with the % that appears when someone reconnects) appeared, so I said "Ok its cool he's reconnecting".
But then, when he had 29% the game Terminated his hero! both me and my buddy were like "WTF IS THIS?" my brother just said "wtf crash report?" I showed him that the game said he had been terminated, he just turned off his PC and left the room. I don't think he even wants to play anymore.
The game was in our favor even though our carry (magebane) was terribad I think both me and pebbles would have carried that game out so long as we had 5 members on the team. After that we attempted to push mid to see if we could do something, we failed.
Now my brother has a disconnect registered when he in fact DID NOT, I've had a great experience with HoN support in the past so I hope you (S2) can do something about this (Reseting that leave would be the least).
TL;DR:
The game terminated my brother's hero when he had still 4+ minutes in reconnect timer and while he was reconnecting. (We play in the same room).
EDIT: Forgot to say my brother's account name is Xicron, and this match afaik is the last one he played, so you can look it up in his stats.

This happened to me as well. Only disconnect on my entire account, makes me sad![]()
Please provide a match id so S2 can look into this.

I did, in the support forums there's a thread open about it.
Pretty sure there is a sticked thread about this in tech support.
Also, contrary to popular belief, the leave % is not so people can rage X amount of games. It's for situations exactly like this that the player has no control over.

You can email support@heroesofnewerth.com for leave inquiries - they are nice and will reverse leaves if you have a good reason.

That's what I did ElementUser. I can understand if my Internet fails and I get a leave that way, and that's what the threshold is for. But saying that the threshold is there because S2 has buggy code is a very poor excuse.
The leaves should be on my end, not yours.
