    2 different graphics problems

there is no real prefix to deal with this issue as it doesn't fall under any.

ok, so maybe it should be 2 posts, but meh.

    first problem.
occasionally, while the game is running, if you minimise (accidentally, something else pops up or intentionally, makes no difference) when you try to open hon again it will sit at a completely black screen for about 30 seconds (on my machine anyway, i think it would be longer for graphics cards with more RAM) and eventually it will crash and a popup saying D3D_overflow() (may not be exactly that but that's what happens) appears. there is no way to get any other window to appear infront of the crashing hon, and you just have to wait for it to finish crashing before you can restart the game and rejoin, making it about 2 mins or more of dc time before you get back.
anyone else seen this issue, and know how to deal with it/fix it?

    second problem.
while playing, at the start of a unit's animation (it can be an ability, move, attack, it makes no difference) the graphics driver will crash and the screen will go black for about 7 - 10 seconds, where you lose control and the game continues, where your hero decides he will run in. this happens more frequently when there are more heroes fighting (more heroes = more abilities being used) so in team fights when it is crucial it can throw the fight if not the game.
after the game recovers, the framerate has dropped and there is some lag, as well as the graphics looking like it's a stop motion animation, until it 'recovers' at some abritrary time afterwards (with no minimum or maximum duration i have noted).
yes, i have updated my graphics drivers numerous times to try to deal with it but each update of hon and each driver update has failed to solve the issue.
this can happen multiple times during a game and even the glitches can overlap, but the symptoms don't stack. you only get more 'down time' of black screen.

    my rig is
    E6750
    nvidia 9800GTX
    4GB RAM

if i have started another thread about the same thing, sorry but i couldn't find these issues on the forum when i looked. if you want any more info, ask away, but neither of these have created any dumps. that said i haven't checked the console when it happens. i will do that next time and post what is says, if anything.

bleh, what a wall of text...

Try updating your GPU's drivers at http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-uk, and if that doesn't work upload a console.log from when the problem occurs.
