    Arrow 28.02 - St0l3n_IDs Tactical Interface v0.7.0.2



    This is not a new User Interface, but its a improved one. I'm trying to create a modification which supports teamplay and providing some additional information. Key-Elements are:



    Intelligent Chat
    The inteligent chat feature replaces different common chat expressions with real text (standard text replacement so far), while typing. Pressing backspace will redo a recently replaced expression.
    The chat feature also reads the chat messages written by your team and creates effects on your minimap, showing visually which lane misses a heroe, where a rune has been spotted, and where heroes have returned.

    Lane-State Display (new in 0.7)


    List of commands:
    Basically there is nothing special for now to note, but you can set some minor replacement options to fit your personal desire better.

    Fixed
    | Changeable

    -'mia'/'miss'/'ss' : MISSING
    After MISSING:
    -'t' : MISSING Top
    -'m' : MISSING Mid
    -'b' : MISSING Bottom

    -'re'/'re ' : *LANE* RETURNED (lane will be the last one you called MISING for)
    After RETURNED:
    -'t' : Top RETURNED
    -'m' : Mid RETURNED
    -'b' : Bottom RETURNED


    -'rune'/'ru ' : RUNE
    After RUNE:
    -'ch' : Check RUNE
    -'t' : RUNE Top
    -'b' : RUNE Bottom
    *After RUNE Top/Bottom
    *--'dd'/'dmg'/'dam' : Double Damage
    *--'reg' : Regeneration
    *--'haste' : Haste
    *--'inv' : Invisible
    *--'ill' : Illusion

    -'check rune' : Check RUNE


    -'back'/'b ' : Go BACK



    Customizable Nameplate and Statusbars (with Preview)


    Above you can see the preview element of the Nameplate and the Statusbar in the options menu of the mod.
    You're able to costumize the standard nameplate to look like ever you want it to look like, there are 27684 different ways to costumize it so far.
    All this with only 8 buttons (of course this is just a math trick to gain popularity^^).
    Those buttons are special new option elements to quick and compact change the layout of your nameplates, and to avoid the mod-options bug with the dropdown element.
    Those changes are instantly applied to the game.

    How to use/configure:
    Simply go into the options menu, whenever you feel you need to
    -Background of the Nameplate will turn off if only one Label is left and no Border color is selected
    -Labels with no borders will resize (fe. Level Nr. gets bigger without its surrounding border)
    -Pressing F6 twice will apply the changes instantly if you're in a game



    Map-Pings
    Map-Pings can be change through clicking one of the three buttons above the Map 'Care'/'Attack'/'Defend'
    The next map-Ping made from the player, will send out a Map-Ping, which also leaves a color behind on the MiniMap.

    These map-pings actually work for each one in the team who also uses the mod.
    Teammates who do not have the mod applied will see them as normal map-pings, and a TeamMessage which says 'Care'/'Attack'/'Defend' (depending on what you've called of course)

    So basically those Map-pings are 'Markers' for a area which marked the area red, orange or blue for 20 seconds, with an additonal team message.

    Automated-Care Ping
    If you ping directly at a teammate on the minimap, you'll create a Care Ping with the teamchat message "Care 'heroname'" (fe. Care Flint Beastwood)

    Specific-Rune Ping
    If you directly ping at a Rune on your screen, you'll create a Rune Call, which automaticly knows if the rune is top or bottom and which kind of rune it is. (fe. Rune Top Double Damage)

    (The video for the intelligent chat feature also shows those map-pings)

    How to use/configure:
    The Map-Ping buttons can be moved or hidden in the Moveable Frames options.
    The Auto-Care-Ping feature works by his own, simply ping on the position of an ally in the minimap.
    If you directly ping at a Rune/Tablet, you'll post its map-effect + chat.


    Effect and Layout Changes:
    I've added a option to Replace the Ally-Portrait Icons with their Model-Potrait (just like your own on the bottom).
    The Selection Potrait (that one on the bottom) got changed, too show a more distant view of the selected unit, and played some animations (like taunt or running) randomly.
    I also added a new lvl up effect just for fun^^
    Screenshots of Hero Potraits (unfortunatly a still image cant show the great style of the feature :P)


    For now its only possible to turn them on/off, but i'll put some more efford into this when the more important things are done.




    Options Panel
    I put great afford into the options panel, and i hope to satisfy all the users with a options menu, kept as simply but flexible as somehow possible.
    On one side we have the important performance options like the ITPS-Slider for the Item-Memory System, on the other side we have the live preview of the Hero-Nameplates.
    There are also options to alter your chat-commands for intelligent chat.
    Also ive implemented a way to choose between different styles, this functionallity will be more advanced in the next updates, for now you can already choose which map-fx should be shown (Na!th's Plane fx, or St0l3n's Styled FX) for MISING/RETURNING and RUNE calls.

    Add-Ons:
    The Item Memory System
    Simply hover over the hero-icons on the scoreboard to see the last known item build of the hero and a timer when you've seen it.
    The items get automaticly saved as soon the hero appears on your screen, or if you hover over their icon on the minimap.
    Its hard to explain, so here is a short video about it:

    The biggest advance may be that you can watch item builds anytime even if the hero isn't on the screen.

    How to use/configure:
    This function is a very performance intense one.
    I strongly recommend everyone to first star a practice game first to test his game performance ingame with this conditions:
    -Spawn 5 heroes for your team (no matter which heroes)
    -Give each one a different item build
    -You should note that your framerate (FPS) decreases and your Item-Trigger-Per-Seconds (ITPS) increases, while all heroes are on the screen at the same time
    -Now open the mod options (F6)
    -Open the tab Item Memory
    -Try to adjust the ITPS-Treshhold-Slider, from the left to the right, in small steps, every time checking your framerate ingame (F6)
    -you will recognize that at some point your Framerate reaches a peak


    Unfortunatly the ITPS/FPS differs for each PC, so you have to set your ITPS-Treshhold this way.

    How does this work?
    The items getting scanned on each minimap-MouseOver, and for each hero visible on your screen.
    The treshold simply switches the live scanning from your screen off when the Treshhold is reached, and reduces the scanning to Minimap-MouseOver and to Directly Mouse-Over.
    The problem which appears here:
    The treshhold is reached -> mod switches the mode -> treshhold isnt reached anymore -> live mode -> treshhold again reached etc.
    this is the reason why a lower treshhold can result in worser results then a mid-positioning of the slider.

    If you turn off Live Scanning complety, NO ITEMS will be scanned except on Minimap-MouseOver.


    To use the IMS, apply this .honomd file:

    As told before i don't like the nameplates either but that is no problem since you removed them but else seems like an nice work keep it up!

    I edited the post (clearer now)

    As said above:
    Nameplate wont work with items in them, so i took em out.
    Further i already made up a plan to attach my custom Map-Pings on the new system to have a usefull addition to the existing Pings.
    Unfortunatly the Potrait Models seem to look very ugly as screenshot, you'll see a video in near future, which shows that they are rather pretty :P (its just standard potrait on allys anyway^^)

    Wann-Be-Beta-Tester's just have to pm me :P

    made this video very quickly, it doesnt show everything I've made so far, but it gives a nice overview about the live chat interpretation...

    The mod also features Map signals for miss calls and interpretation of allied chat, these two features are NOT shown in the video.

    (Although the video have terrible quality and resolution its like 10 FPS , but atleast it gave me all the necessary Info)

    I've written them BEFORE, i simply couldnt belive the hon2.0 update making one of my key-modelements so useless...

    The Changes are instantly applyed to the game.
    FE: You can hide Player and Hero name and give the Healthbar the color of the player shown.


    This feature now got testet quite a while and now seem to work without bugs so far, hope u like the concept and solution ;-)

    Here whe go with another update, another feature came up my mind, and after a complete fail-implementation i rewrote it, and here it is:
