So, what happens if a Hammerstorm with Nullstone gets purged while his ultimate is active?

It would get blocked by nullstone? I dont get it.
It's definitely possible if you know how to play well.
Electrician's purge is a single target superior magic spell.

If it is a single target spell which gets blocked by nullstone then nullstone will block it and the ultimate will not be purged.

Geometer's bane (self activate) and Engineer's Energy Field are the only sources of buff purging that aren't targeted.
The bounces with SotM was removed from electrician, it now applies to himself and the target if you have it. So that isn't possible any more
