We are looking for 3 other med-high levels to join. Particularly to join the HoN tournament posted. We would like to get some in-house games with several others.

A little background on us:
We both have professional gaming experience in different fields;
In console gaming, we both started with Smash Brothers Melee competitive while winning many tournaments (1v1 and 2v2) as well as Street Fighter: 3rd strike.
Afterwards Smash Brothers Brawl (No longer, SSBB is such a shitty game), and Street Fighter 4. Ineedallsoj is currently ranked #1 SF4 player in the midwest as well as having a sponsored CS:S team.
Generally, we only go competitive in games that have a new competitive scene. While HoN is still in beta stage, I find that this would be an opportune time for us to play in a new game genre.
I believe I speak for the both of us when I say we understand the main points of competitive play in Dota.
Both of us know that each game has it's own in-depth gameplay that seperates mediocre players from professional. We've been playing for almost 3 years, with our main models for great replays being Merlini.
I can assure any team that picks us up that we are serious high level players from a different field of competition, and only in it for thrill of the competitive scene. Competition is a our way of enjoying the game.

stevetorius, this is your 1st real post and that is all you have to say? I don't think you even know who the #1 ranked SF4 player in the midwest is. He is in fact #1 ranked. As any other thread someone is always trying to discredit the OP or bring down the thread. You sir, are a troll.
As for -em games, I never said that we played Dota competitive. I said we are looking to join the competitive scene.

Where is the proof that he is #1? Did he go to EVO to compete against the best of the best? Was he on the Midwest's 5v5 team for EVO? And if you are looking to join the competitive scene, why gimp yourself by playing in a mode that is played mainly by lower level players? Leaving it at that and good luck finding a good team.
He did go to EVO, I went with him to compete 3s, sf4, and hd remix. He was on the 5v5 team to represent Midwest. I'm not going to scan his EVO ID tag for you for proof. This is the internet, so believe what you will. We will only share our personal information with those who we play with.
Nobody gives a **** if you went to EVO and won tournaments or if you got triple kills in counter strike while giving a blow job to your mate there. All anyone cares about is how good of a HoN player you are, and the only way to prove that is by playing games. Playing -em matches won't help.
Either way the credibility for ability to compete in the professional field is listed.

We have 5 active members right now and 2 who slot in for us, but are looking to mix things around slightly and have people try to fill different roles. We mainly play 5vs5 against friends/contacts clans.
We have a vent server, we dont take hon seriously and even if you are not interested in joining it would be cool to play with or against new people.

Join the Shoryuken [SRK] clan. (Yes, we're all from shoryuken.com) Most of our clan is made up of a bunch of new players who are learning the ropes. Eventually they want to be competetive, but we've got a few (2, maybe 3) who can play right now who were pretty hardcore DotA players, myself being one of them.
