Dota's Witch Doctor being the inspiration for Voodoo Jester:
Death Ward deals Chaos damage, which goes through all armor types with 100% efficiency but fortified(and since it cannot target buildings or creeps it doesnt matter), where it is 40% efficient
As the purpose of HoN is not a 1:1 simulation of Dota it can be kinda difficult to tell what exactly is working as designed as what is a design oversight.
So, the 'bug': the damage dealt by Voodoo Jesters Spirit Ward is hindered by normal armor, ie: its physical, when it should make damage to everything it hits on
it is demonstrated in effect in game 21052728 during jereziah ulties, as the ones in its range get the enourmous armor bonus, the teamfight at about 53 minutes for a good example
EDIT: Nevermind, forgot that is indeed reduced by armor values in dota aswell, its just so long time since last played dota -> this can be moved to recycble bin of bug reports

They are exactly the same, Chaos damage is still reduced by armor, it just ignores the armor type.
In WC3 Chaos Damage was like "true damage" but in DotA I believe it was different, not too sure about this though.
Stats are like women in bikinis, they are interesting to look at however they don't show you everything.
Even if it was different in DotA it would be a balance thing rather than a bug.
Anyway moving to rejected.
