    The Boyg (Agi Support\Babysitter)

Thanks to Nome for the template\
Thanks to Henrik Ibsen for the theme

    The Boyg

(Something like this, only in white mist, and much less visible hands and head)

    Speed: 315
    Range: Melee
    Affiliation: Hellbourne
    Primary Stat: AGI

This is a collective hero idea by IDidYourMom and Grandma

    Sound and Visual Design

The Boyg is a creature of the mind, and his presence is that of a strange mist. It is not completely formed as a human being, but arms and a head can be seen through it at times, mostly when he performs spells and attacks. He has no visible legs, and only seems to float on the air as he moves forward.

His voice must be almost non-hearable, only a slight whisper in the wind, but an evil one at that.

    Voice Suggestion:

    "I am not real"

    "You will avoid me"

    "Are you sure?"

"I answer only to my master, Ibsen"

    "Where is Peer?"

    "Walk around"

"I feel like I'm in a house of puppets"

    "Bookworthy"

    Story

The Boyg is the inner being of every sentient being, the voice that tells you to take the easy path and evade your problems. He is the everliving passiveness, undecisfulness that makes people hesitate and lose their perspective.
In these dark times, this creature of corruption has managed to materialize itself into a being of pure mist, and it's goal is only to spread his corruption.

    Role

The Boyg is a support hero that through his skills both spooks of the enemy team, but also buffs and protects his allies. While being agi, he can also become a semi-hitter, although he has no specific offensive abilities. A great babysitter for a carry.

    __________________________________________________

    Manifested Presence

The Boyg does not realy exist, only in the minds of his enemies.

When targeted on a enemy unit, a Boyg will appear in the perimeter of his vision, seen walking towards him. The Boyg will last for a few seconds, or until it hits him once. The created Boyg will have every stat exactly the same as the original Boyg. When chosen, you can target a enemy unit and a arrowhead will appear beneath before you cast, the arrowhead can be moved around in 360 degree around the hero. The way the arrowhead is pointed once you click the enemy hero is where the boyg will appear.

    Skill Type: Active, Single Target
    Manacost: 40
    Cast Range: Global
Duration: 4 seconds or after 1 hit on the enemy

    1. Cooldown: 15 sec
    2. Cooldown: 11 sec
    3. Cooldown: 7 sec
    4. Cooldown: 3 sec

Balance: This is the Boyg's main spell, and can both work as a finisher to a enemy unit, and as a "fake" gank. If you cast this alot on enemy heroes, they will become unaware over time, and once actually do come yourselfs, they will not sense a thing. Also synergizes with his ultimate. The created Boyg can be attacked and can also easily be outrun since it's movementspeed is that of the original Boyg and his short life. His health and damage will be the exact same as the original Boyg

Visual: A Boyg will appear in the perimiter of the chosen enemy's vision, and walk straight towards him and then attack, and be gone. If any other friendly or enemy unit is within the area of where the Boyg appears, they will see him come out of thin air.

    __________________________________________________

    Corruptive Mist

The Boyg is so corruptive, his own body leaves trails of corruptive mist behind him.

A passive that makes all Boygs create a trail of mist behind themselves. This mistwill weaken the resolve of enemy heroes, slowing down their own movementspeed. The mist has the opposite effect on teammates, increasing their movementspeed. Passivly increases Boygs general movementspeed and at level 4 makes him phased at all times. This buff\debuff only lingers while inside the mist.

    Skill Type: Passive
    Duration of mist: 4 sec
    Fog width: 200 range

    1. Increases\Decreases ms by 3 %. Boyg gains 10 ms
    2. Increases\Decreases ms by 5 %. Boyg gains 20 ms
    3. Increases\Decreases ms by 7 %. Boyg gains 30 ms
    4. Increases\Decreases ms by 9 %. Boyg gains 40 ms. Eternal phasing.

Balance: This skill is a great escape and chase spell. While it demands that the Boyg needs to be infront of the enemy unit to slow him, his own ms is increased by alot through this skill. And at the same time it also makes it easier for your own teammates to catch up with the enemy unit, and since the Boyg is phased at all times, allies will not be blocked be him. Every Boyg create this mist, so it can be used with Manifested Presence for even better chasing\escaping. This passive also makes it alot easier for enemies to hunt the Boyg, as he always leave a trail.

    Visual:
Once skilled, the Boyg will start to leave a trail of white mist on the ground.

    __________________________________________________

    Boygian Mind

The Boyg is in the minds of every sentient being, and he can manifest within at all times.

When used, the Boyg will enter the mind of a allied hero. While inside, the Boyg can still cast spells, but he cannot attack, and he has not control of the ally. The allied hero with Boyg inside will leave a trail of Corruptive Mist. The main buff the allied hero will gain with the Boyg inside them is that he cannot be targeted by enemy units whatsoever. This means that single targeted spells does not work on the Boygian Mind, and enemy units cannot attack him with regular hits. AoE spells still apply. While under the effect of Boygian Mind, the allied hero also gains the speed buff that Boyg usually gets from Corruptive Mist. The Boyg can leave the allied hero anytime, and if the hero under the effect of Boygian Mind dies, the Boyg will appear at the point of his death.

    Skill Type: Active, Single Target.
    Manacost: 90 110 130 150
    Cast Range: 300
    Cooldown: 30

    1. Duration: 3 seconds
    2. Duration: 4 seconds
    3. Duration: 5 seconds
    4. Duration: 6 seconds

    Balance:
This spell is realy powerful, as it makes the chosen allied hero immune to ordinary attacks aswell as singletargeted spells. But at the same time, the Boyg will not be able to assist with his own hits, making it a double-edged sword. The Boyg can still cast spells, so he can spam Manifested Presence for a few hits.

    Visual:
The Boyg will flow into the body of targeted friendly hero, and the targeted hero will then start to produce mist beneath itself.

    __________________________________________________

    Great Evade

The Boyg urges enemies to take the easy road, and walk around him.

Once cast, for a short period of time, enemy heroes cannot get more then a set amount of range close to all Boyg's, thus rendering Boyg's invunerable from melee units, and able to push all enemy heroes. Friendly heroes can stay close to the Boyg so they cannot be hit aswell. When casted, this ultimate also applies to every Boyg created by Manifested Presence. Enemies can not blink or jump close to the Boygs either. If they try to blink within the designated area of the Boyg, the blink will just be redirected, and blink as close as possible to the Boyg. Enemy units "hit" by the Great Evade, as in they are pushed in any direction by a incoming Boyg will be stunned for a very short duration, and dealt a small amount of damage.

    Skill Type: Active
    Manacost: 130 150 170
    Cooldown: 50
    Duration: 10
    Push stun: 0.5 sec
    Push damage: 100

    1. Enemies cannot get more then 200 range close to Boygs
    2. Enemies cannot get more then 250 range close to Boygs
    3. Enemies cannot get more then 300 range close to Boygs

Balance: A realy powerful support spell, and can be used in pushes to prevent Behemoth\Tempest\Magmus and such to jump straight into you own team. Can also be used as a sufficent escape mechanism, as enemies cannot get to close. Combined with Manifested Presence, it can be used to push enemies away or towards you.

Visual: A transculent white fog will spread around the Boygs, covering the ground around him. The fog will reach out in a circle around the Boyg, and will stop at the exact which the enemy cannot come any closer. The fog created by this spell will be much more transculent then the one created by Corruptive Mist.

Manifested Presence is a free attack on any hero on the map every 3 seconds at level 7? A free attack every 7 seconds at level 5? Attacks are pretty painful earlygame, and having map presence in any lane is somewhat insane, especially seeing how difficult it is to escape the fake due to its 315 base ms + Corruptive Mist's +ms. It's a neat idea though. Very nice synergy with Corruptive Mist.

Boygian Mind is cool. Very nice for Krob tower pushes or saving allies.

Great Evade has pretty cool synergy too, I suppose... but it looks like something a strength hero would do. Pushing heroes around is pretty awesome, but a super-squishy (look at that str gain) agi hero isn't really what you'd normally imagine shoving the enemies away from his allies.

Is he agi just for the Manta benefits to damage? :>

I am aware of the sick imbaness of the Manifested Presence, but it's only so for it is his only real offensive ability. On the other hand, it is not as imba as you think. First of all, the Boyg itself does not benifit from the + % in ms from Corruptive Mist, and second, considering the Boyg appears in the perimiter of the enemies view range, the Boyg will need to time to get to the enemy unit. This will take him approxamitly 1-3 seconds. And before Corruptive Mist reaches level 4, the Boygs will not be phased, thus they will have to go around creeps, so the time will be longer, so you are fully capable of dodging the oncoming Boyg. But with both skills at level 4, you will almost have a certain hit at all times. But for me, not to spec Boygian Mind early is stupidity itself. The spell is extremely good babysitter spell, as it can save your carries ass over and over again. So I dont think it's that imba.

Oooh, and I switched Int and Str gain now, it was just silly the way it was. Oh, and yes, picked agi for the extra damage capability. ;D Thanks alot for the feedback.

This hero is inspired by the book "Peer Gynt" by Henrik Ibsen. One of the worlds most famous authors. And he wants YOU to vote on this hero! Please post constructive criticism.

Ooh, this guy seems really fun to play with. I'd love to see the enemy Behemoth or Predator run away in fear as you activate Great Evade, I also like the Boygian Mind spell. Very creative and unique spells you've made.

Unsure of the mist, but I guess you need a chasing spell or summat. Nevertheless, great hero.

    T-up!

Theme: a intersing idea, i have seen a lot of bad mist/ghost heroes but this one is ok.

1st: mehh. is almost good. mkae him make a clone near him that does little daamge and can take no damage but he can use the power a lot, also they last a long time. make it a max of 4 clones, that way you can make a wall of ulti.

2nd: i like it. but maybe make it a toggalable power that costs small amounts of mana but is slightly more powerfull.

3rd: very interesting idea. how about makeing him enter a enemy as well. the enemy hero will be slowed all the time by the passive.

ulti: i like it , simple and effective. instead of invisible wall how about any enemy unit in range can not attack or cast spells. that way if you enter a enemy they can not escape the no attack power.

Thanks alot for the positive answers Enemy and OddEdge! The Mist might be a bit off, but remember that it also gives The Boyg and his clones eternal phasing aswell as a huge ms bonus. ;D

    Rentaromon:

1.skill: Hmm, I see your skill, and I like it, but the one I have posted seems alot more synergetic, in the sense that it makes the clone walk in a distinct pattern, leaving a trail of mist behind him, and making the clones able to push enemy units in a distinct direction. That is why I've made the skill like it is. A example would be a chase where enemy heroes are chasing a teammate on the other side of the map. You tap your ultimate, and cast Manifested Presence on the enemy chasers with the clone walking towards the enemies and then pushing them away from the one they are chasing, saving your teammates life.

2.skill: Once again, not a dumb suggestion, might consider it, but I want a passive at the hero aswell, and this one seemed to the most reasonable one and it synergizes well with the first skill. At the same time it gives the Boyg passive movementspeed, which is nice.

3.skill. Absolutely! Should definatly make it enemy targeted aswell! Then the enemy would lose the amount of ms Boyg usually gets from Corruptive Mist, and at the same time be untargeted by self-buffs and other singletargeted spells. Good idea!

4.skill: Might be a tad OP with what you have suggested, but if not I honestly think that would be a awesome ultimate aswell.
