I've decided to create this thread with a poll (sorta doubles as a petition) just asking the general public on their opinion of the new HoNcast.
I used to be on HoNcast every day and even stay up until 5 in the morning to watch casts.
Now? I don't even bother. FilePlay has pretty much ruined my experience of watching any casts what so ever (quality and buffering, it takes me 20 minutes to load up about 5 minutes of footage where as before it took me 10 minutes to load up 60. The HD quality is on par with the old HoNCast quality, it's pretty poor and it lacks the ability to successfully skip to desired parts of a video without wanting to buffer for an hour.) and the Ustream live casts are crappy.
That's just my opinion. There's probably many others that agree/disagree with it.
So if you guys/girls vote in the poll, and because a poll is a limited way to express your opinion, just leave a little message saying what you voted for and why.
Also, I've tried to make the poll as fair as possible.

For the most part, American's are going to be unable to enjoy Fileplay until they set up servers in the states, period.

I wonder if ppl understand the reason Honcast has had to shift to Fileplay? It's not because they think Fileplay is a better platform; it is a downgrade because they can no longer financially support the platform they were on. It was great while it lasted but was not financially sustainable, so don't expect the quality to be as great anymore.
Just a note, most people outside of Europe experience the issues, not just Americans.
Oh, and until we get confirmation from breaky, then I'm going to ignore that speculation anchovies.
from what i hear its been confirmed that honcast was losing monies every month. not the best buisness model.

Like it or not, fileplay is here to stay, and we hope you will continue to support Honcast as we go through these changes.

I believe that they are still in the transition phase? Naturally such a huge shift requires a lot of work from all parties.
With the old host they payed 13k/month. With Fileplay they properly got a good deal and we could see a lot of that money being channeled into the HoN community.
Instead of people crying that the "Honcast monolopy" is bad, they should use this time to set up an alternative. Hit 'em while they are weak; you are properly not gonna get a better chance in a long time.
It would be really good if some random kid who has the biggest and the best streaming company in world would come along and help out. He could even host some tournaments later on.

Why dont they update honcast with the newest vods or at least just link to them honcast atm is just useless nothing posted on it and all the traffic goes to fileplay is that really how you intended it?

It seems that you're not uploading your most recent casts on fileplay these days... that saddens me. For some reason I'm unable to watch your streams now because of lag or unsync between picture/sound, and it's just really horrible. I decided I'd just watch the VoDs instead, but I really can't seem to find the new ones on fileplay!
Im one of the few people that the new Honcast benefits. Im guessing thats becuase im in the UK. I can even watch from my IPhone with no problems.
I can watch honcasts fileplay ones fine. I just dont like ustream cos it lags like crazy and has annoying adverts that block off the items and the hellbourne team hero stats at the bottom every 30 seconds!
the newest ones need to be tagged honcast otherwise the search fails.

only one answer for positive feedback, bad empiric method.... honcast needs to get own channel on fileplay, as long the search system is that bad (f.e. 1 video shown for november)

the only time I use honcast is when they do a live stream which they haven't done in a long time afaik
I'm still missing why YouTube isn't the obvious choice. It is, by far and without exception, the best video player in existence.
It's probably their stupid qualms with people downloading the videos...
They may as well use youtube if they are gonna do that. There's 22 pages of videos of honcast on fileplay and they arent in date order. How the **** am I expected to find the latest videos? You can even apply for something on youtube to have your videos last longer than 10mins. Why wouldnt they do that. It's the most accessible streaming website.
