I. Introduction
Practice Mode was made to do exactly as the name suggests, Practice the game with just yourself. Use it to test out builds for your guides, or when the map editor is released to test out your new maps, etc.

II. Starting Practice Mode
Although it is in the patch notes, some people have trouble to starting a Practice Mode Game. It's pretty simple, when Creating a Game, pull down the drop down menu of "Server Select" and it should be there.

III. Test Tab
The Test Tab is going to be your best friend in Practice Mode. This is what defines Practice Mode (Besides playing solo). From here you can spawn towers, heroes, neutrals, creeps, power ups, items, the whole nine yards. It can be located here



Also, I will explain what each button does on the Test Tab.


Refresh! - Refreshes the cooldown and gives full HP and Mana to whatever is selected. (Also works on Towers)
Kill! - Kills whatever you have selected.
Exp Tabs
+150 - Gives your selected hero 150 experience.
+1500 - Gives your selected hero 1500 experience.
Level Tabs
+ - Levels up your selected hero by one level.
Reset - Resets your selected hero to level 1.
Max - Levels your selected hero to max level (25) and maxes all skills.

Give Gold 15000 - Gives your selected hero 15,000 gold.
Remove Hero - Removes your main hero from the game and allows you to repick.
Creeps Tabs
Empty Square - Turns creep spawning on and off. (Untested)
Spawn - Spawns a wave of creeps (For both Legion and Hellbourne).
Kill - Kills all creeps on the map.
Powerups Tabs
Empty Square - Turns Powerup spawning on and off. (Untested)
Spawn - Spawns a random powerup (Spawns in normal spots)

Spawner - Spawns creeps, buildings, critters, gadgets, pets, powerups, towers, heroes, and neutrals wherever you select.
Items - Allows you to give any item to a selected hero.
Close - Closes the Test tab.

IV. Spawner

The spawner is obviously for spawning things like buildings, creeps, heroes, etc. I'll show you how to use it effectively.



Top Drop Down Menu - Where it says Creep_LegionMelee, this is where you select what you spawn. The first word in them is what it is obviously, Creep being the main, Legion being he will look like Legion's creep, and the melee as what type he is. DO NOT BE FOOLED, he will attack all by default. See next.
Second Drop Down Menu - This is where you select who your spawn will fight for.
Neutral - It will attack anything it sees, it has no allegiance (Your hero can attack this, and it will attack you).
Passive - Will not attack anything unless you control it, but will only attack enemies (Your hero cannot attack this and it will not attack you).
Legion - Will attack all Hellbourne units, and neutrals. (Hellbourne = Top, Legion = Bottom) (Will attack you if you are on Hellbourne)
Hellbourne - Will attack all Legion units, and neutrals. (Will attack you if you are on Legion)
Third Drop Down Menu - This is where you select respawning and ownership.
None - Select this if you want the unit you spawn to be just a normal hero / tower, not owned by you. So if this dies you will not get the death.
Local Client - Anything you spawn with this will be under your ownership so if you kill what you spawned with this, you will receive the death, or any creep kills it gets will be denies for you.
Spawn - After selecting what you want to spawn and the allegiance, click this to spawn it.
Close - Close the Spawner tab.

V. Items
This tab is used for giving items to your selected hero. Keep in mind that you can do this for ANY hero you spawn, Legion or Hellbourne. You just have to have them selected.


Top Drop Down Menu - Here you select the item which you want to put on your selected hero.
Give Item - Give the selected item to the selected hero.
Close - Close the Item Tab.

VI. Q&A

1. My test / dev tab is not showing up?
Open up the menu and close it, the tab should reappear.

2. A lot of the items and heroes are named weird?
I will be posting the list so that it will be easier to see who is who.

3. Can I invite others to a Practice game?
No, when you make the game, no matter what size there is only 1 player allowed.

4. Are there bots?
Currently no, everything you spawn you control, except the creeps and towers, they will attack automatically. But heroes will just auto attack, that's about it.

There are no bots, you control everything that you spawn. I will add that to Q&A.

so you know the kill! command isn't to just kill your hero, it kills your target if it is revealed (you are in range of it). most of the time your hero is selected by default so yes i've killed myself a lot :P

Also, I would recommend setting the third option in the Spawner from Local Client to None if you spawn any enemies/towers/WellAttackers.
