There is a counterpart to arachna's orb though.

In one of the first games when devo was picked in a tournament (some months ago), there was a arachna on the enmy team who bought a (very successful) void talisman
Because of actiontype="attack". In DotA manually casting orbs work like spells while in hon they are attacks. Its working as intended, so you'll have to try another forum if you want it changed.
Drow. And there are few other frost arrow based skills in dota
Wow, im surprised by how many people compared arach to drow. Arach is most similar to viper from DotA. Not drow. A bit different from Viper, though. his first and last skills are pretty much the same as Viper's.

Arachna has Drow Ranger's aura and Viper's ult/orb "slow"-like effects (but their mechanics are different, ie Arachna's Orb deals no damage and Arachna's ult can be killed/deals physical damage)
