If you have an item suggestion, start a new thread. The topic name can be whatever you want, but be SURE to include "(item suggestion)" at the end of it.
Here's the general format for item idea submissions:
Quote:Item Properties/Attributes:
* Any passive bonuses the item bestows (stats, health/mana, etc)
* A description of any special properties of the item (passive effects, activated effects, etc).
* Estimated TOTAL cost/availability (subject to change at implementation)
Item ingredients:
* A list of requirements to complete the item. Please refer to all ingredients with their HoN names.
Goal of the item (optional, but preferred):
* What do you want the item to accomplish for the game? For example, maybe you think HoN needs another late-game item to boost the attack of intelligence heroes, or you think another mid-game tank item is needed and you are hoping to fill that role. This part of the submission is optional, but by completing it you show us that you've thought out your item thoroughly and its intended effects on the game.
If we do take an item suggestion and implement it, we'll name it after the creator (or allow them their choice of name if your current username doesn't work well). We will disclaim here that we will likely tweak some values and functionality for balance but will try to keep the item as close to original as possible.
All suggestions should be formed in new threads to allow for potential discussion. Any threads not following the above format may be subject to removal.
Well after sometime one of my suggestions reached the Popular section (now the Top)
(I have to thank all the ppl who supported it).
So, thanks!
Axe of the Malphai

Nedrapter's War Axe Recipe
Cost : 1500g

Nedrapter's War Axe
+30 Strength, +10 Damage, Passive ability: Warmonger
Warmonger details : For every enemy in 800 aoe radius your attack speed and damage is increased ( for every enemy creep +2 IAS , +2 Damage, stacks 10 times - for every enemy hero +4 IAS , +3 Damage [double bonus for each extra hero] stacks 5 times).
Total cost : 5500g
-0 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +0 IAS +0 Damage
-1 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +2 IAS +2 Damage
-2 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +4 IAS +4 Damage
-3 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +6 IAS +6 Damage
-4 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +8 IAS +8 Damage
-5 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +10 IAS +10 Damage
-6 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +12 IAS +12 Damage
-7 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +14 IAS +14 Damage
-8 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +16 IAS +16 Damage
-9 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +18 IAS +18 Damage
-10 Enemy creeps in a 800 radius: +20 IAS +20 Damage
-0 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +0 IAS +0 Damage
-1 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +4 IAS +3 Damage
-2 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +8 IAS +6 Damage
-3 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +12 IAS +12 Damage
-4 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +16 IAS +24 Damage
-5 Enemy Heroes in a 800 radius: +20 IAS +48 Damage
Minimum Bonus : +0 IAS +0 Damage (when you kill neutrals for example)
Average Bonus : +18 IAS +18 Damage (in a lane with 5 creeps and 2 heroes)
Maximum Bonus : +40 IAS +68 Damage (in a full scale battle , mostly defences)
So according to what you got in the 800 radius around you, your IAS and Damage increase will be from the table above. As you see the benefits maximize in full scale battle, when the tank is most needed. It doesnt work well with Heroes that chase and are often hunting 1 hero alone, neither Heroes that work behind the scenes.
Heroes that can use this item:
-Hammerstorm
(he will love it)
-Armadon
-Rampage
-Predator
(it will become a must)
-Accursed
-Deadwood
-War beast
-Pestilence
-Kraken
--Maliken
--Balphagore
--Gauntlet
It can also be used on some Agility Heroes such as:
-Wildsoul
-Magebane
-Engineer
-Bloodhunter
-Sandwraith
-Andromeda
-Zephyr
-Forsaken Archer :fors:
-Soulstealer
And even on a few INT based heroes like:
-Defiler
(not as 1st item ofc)
Goal of this Item:
Wingbow gives Agility, Damage, Attack speed what an Agility Hero needs from an offensive item. Totem of Kuldra and Sunflower cover the needs of offensive items for INT based heroes. What about STR then? Doomed to tank with Heart of Behemoth? Symbol of Rage isn't that effective when you need raw power. Frostburn lacks DPS and is attack modifier. Here is when this item comes. Covers the need of a STR giving item with some attack speed and damage without overdoing it and without adding an attack modifier.
I want to say also that the goal is the very idea of the item, not the numbers of its stats. These can be modified if needed easily.
More specifically:
1) Competitive gaming:
-It will be an item that many carry hero will prefer regardless being agi or str because it gives some hp too instead of raw power like other damage items. Of course in competitive game it's not easy to farm items of 5-6k gold. But more than a few times, games go late, or someone gets more gold than expected.
-Most games are BD/RD in such gaming level, so hero options are limited, there are times that one team has no carry to pick (heroes as zephyr and chronos get banned often). This item can enable a STR hero (like Predator/Hammerstorm for example) to act as a carry equally with some other carries.
2) Casual gaming:
-Will be very "trendy" for all STR heroes whatever their purpose is, while supporting the idea to join the team fights instead of farming, or fighting alone (obviously because of how it works).
-It's a general fact that when you let a casual player to pick a hero, he picks a carry hero (so mainly an AGI based hero).
Why? because everone wants the joy of making many kills and hearing all the cool effects that HoN provides us. This item might change the picking of some players, knowing that they can get kills with a STR based hero by buying this item (it's not a standar fact, but makes it easier than before).
3) Fun Factor:
-Well it's not a funny item, nevertheless it kinda gives a feeling of enthusiasm when joining a full scale battle and you get the maximized bonus.
Balance issues:
Its recipe cost i think covers what more it gives while the bonuses of the original items aren't lost. It's on the same price as Heart of Behemoth, in order to become a choice of the player "tank or dps? what does my team need?"
Also to some the dmg and IAS given by this item might seem very little for its price or very much. That's what we call balancing, though it can be very little at the same time it can be very high, player's use is what affects it. Of course taking into consideration the best possible use (full scale defences), it's still not OP and also taking into consideration the worst use (farming at neutrals most of time) it's still not useless.
Extra Notes:
As a visual effect it would be good to make your weapon (or the attack hand if the hero doesnt have weapons) to have a glowing aura that gets amplified as the bonuses increase and vice versa. The colour could be red as there arent many red glowing auras or things. Notice that it should be in a form of glowing aura and not glowing the weapon itself, because it will affect Hammerstorm's visual.
The aura detectes heroes and creeps even in fog and gives you the bonuses.
Illusions do not grant bonuses.
I also thought of a more unique name: Tomahawk. It's a tomahawk's size and appearance doesn't really fit the feeling of this item. But sound's cooler than "War Axe", right?
The Original post , with the Original Suggestion ends here. Everything from that point a below is a secondary thought influenced by some players' suggestions.
Multi-purpose
Another idea is to make this item function for all 3 types of heroes (like behemoth's heart does). The effects are interesting and can be balanced easily, however it doesn't agree with the original reason that i'm suggesting this item (since I want to make STR heroes have equal late-game potential as AGI). But after request , I thought wouldn't harm to suggest it as mutli-purpose item as well.
