Me and my friends are into some 3v3/2v2-games (on DW vale ofc), and I wonder what your hero suggestions for those team sizes are. Also about the warding spots: are the only worth ones at the HB side of the runes and the Legion one in the top lane, or are there any other good spots?
Usually we go with one decent solo laner and one pure support/ward biatch laning with a hard carry who still is useful in teamfights.
And in 2v2 we often go for heroes with high str-gain and build tanky, and the rest solves itself. Tanked up![]()
-combo is really hard to beat.
How do you guys do it?
Really just build with people who are semi tanky and can scale at all.
Really its mostly about not losing multiple team fights in a row.
So keeping wards up is important. In 2s its usually less an issue of having support set wards, and just you man up and buy them and upgrade courier when you have the money for it.
Wards are more important than buying a mighty blade 30 seconds earlier
Pick panda and or succubus.
Win.
Get a good disabler and a carry. Panda and succu is maybe the best combo. succu really works with any carry. Jester and chronos works wonders too.
Rampage used to be like one of the best 2v2 heros, but with the change to his ult, he's not as good. DW pesti is imba kombo, just for the lulzyness. But anyway, Succu panda might be the best 2v2 combo.
In 2vs2, tanky heroes with disables are gods.
My favourite? Succubus Pest/Hammer. Just works too good.
For those who are saying panda, ofc he is a very good 2vs2 hero but he is too easily countered. Yes I am looking at you![]()
Hmm.. but how good isin 2v2 then?
He is decent if he shuts down an entire hero. Plus he can carry if built like that.
I play probably 90% 2v2 / 3v3, psr like 1650-1750,
There aren't a ton of wards spots in darkwood. The best ward possible for Legion is kind of a tricky one. If you're looking at the mini map on top of kongor, and go diangle up to the right. You'll see a cliff with a statue in the middle, if you put the ward on that it covers your whole jungle side and can still see the right side rune. It's a brilliant ward.
In 2v2 if you're playing AP, never go x2 STR heroes since predator is a huge threat to that. He's played quite often too. I'll make a little tier of heroes that I find to be picked the most in higher tier games, and the gayest strategies I've seen.
God tier::chro:
( this is very biased to my games and I could see a few heroes in or out of this too. I would say for starters these would be the most dangerous heroes)
High tier::fors:
All the rest worth mentioning:
Those are the most notirious heroes I see that are actually annoying to fight against.
2v2 Is pretty rough though, there is so many times where you will lose the game just because of bad matchups. 3v3 is much more balanced.
My favorite 2v2 teams are:
:chro:
For 3v3, If you're doing small map, get a hard carry, then just a effed up lane. I like double stuns.
We ran a lot of pebbles solos getting early pk, but that changed now too.
A team like this was pretty common.
Pre patch the best teams were push teams. I remember we use to rax 1750+ in under 15 minutes with teams like
Rune controll is so vital in my opinion. I can say 75% of the games I play are won on rune controll, and intiation. I know I missed a lot of heroes, but those are a good start. Disable heavy teams, and good farmers/junglers. Good luck!
Thanks for the ideas!
One strat med and my friend likes to do in 2v2 is to get+ some nice semi/hard carry who's still viable in a solo lane. Then rush Puzzlebox on
and the game's yours. Works extremely well since you can countergank if you are in a range of 3000 of your mate.
Well, when me and a friend of mine do 2 v 2, we end up going Zeph+Electrician. With Zeph being the hardcarry. It works for us anyway ^^
