Allow me to give a brief rundown of said replay
0:00-32:00 min - Jungle farm, no ganks on wildsoul, no harass. There was a brief 30s segment of ws taking top tower solo with no enemies in sight.
32 min - WS duos kongor
32:30-38:00 - Jungle farm, no ganks, no harass
38:00ish - First and only team fight where he is rooted and puppet show'd and does almost nothing because of it.
40:00ish - Helps kill 1 guy and pushes mid tower\rax with no resistance
41:30'ish - Concede
I've been trying to find good wildsoul replays that know how to deal with ganks and harass and counter wards, as well as contribute at some point(preferrably early\mid game) to the team by pushing\ganking, SOMETHING. Sadly, my search continues ;[
btw, freaking PROPS to your tundra handling a bubbles\chronos 2v1 lane and coming out as farmed as he did. The rest of your team managed to take 4/6 outer towers 4v5.
Can't say I've ever had to deal with counter warding on wildsoul (because i don't play him a lot lol) but an old game I played I didn't really farm much I just went around ganking because I got mad that I died at lvl 1 :>Originally Posted by siknoz

The whole point of Wildsoul is that he's a carry who can jungle from level 1 and thus (hopefully) get a gold advantage. Doing anything other than farming, unless it 100% results in a kill, negates that advantage. He particularly shouldn't do anything but farm before the 6-10 minute mark - except for level 3 gank if it's likely to yield a kill - as he needs levels to improve his farming speed. It's particularly horrible if Wildsoul or the bear dies in the attempt, as it may take 2 minutes of completely wasted early game farming time to get to summon a new bear. Basically you don't "harass" with Wildsoul ever, it's a waste of farming time and -potential.

In pub perhaps, I meant more in a competitive light. To see what I mean, go watch Freshpro's wildsoul, he played him twice and laned the solo top lane and actually got pretty good farm, enough to carry at mid\late game. Don't get me wrong, I love junglers, and I don't mind spending 20-30min in the jungle to get beefy and carry, but in general I find that I seriously have less than 15min at best before my team collapses, and all 2nd towers start getting pushed and I lose my jungle. Get tired of that sometimes, so I like to see other playstyles.
Also, Livskis, you're the best ^_-
People seem to forget that wildsoul has a decent amount of damage without many items. Between himself, his bear, wild and his ult's "battle cry" he can do a decent amount of damage.
Sadly most wildsouls still stick to the range only build which means that a flea touching them will drop them to half hp.
