I actually think having Attack Range displayed when you hit "A" for an attack order (exactly like hitting QWER for any ability) would be really handy, and wouldn't add any clutter until you wanted it. Just suggestin'
Really nice mode, but it made me jump a few times when a friendly showed up.
Toggling it on and off a char would really help with the cluttering confusion when you have many chars in the area, I don't have to see where a friendly Soulsteeler can drop his hits or a where Gladiator whip is ranged when they are on my side.
I would love to use this mod often I have to turn it off because there are just to many circles moving around.
Not possible as all heroes share the same 'attack' skill.
(ie. not possible to have a radius that varies with each hero)
I too would like to implement some form of toggle or options if possible but its not! (Feel free to prove me wrong though.)
I was however, working on a version where range indicators only showed while the skill was active. This however meant that Fayde's Cull (or any skills that are instant cast) would have no indicator at all.

what i am wondering is, how does the AoE range indicators know what skill an enemy hero has leveled up. correct me if im wrong, but you arent supposed to see what the enemy has leveld and this could be exploited and used as some sort of unfair advantage.
e.g an enemy hag gets blink lvl 1 and has no range indicator and sonar scream at level 2 and the indicator appears.
ability.entity -> passiveeffect="lvl1.effect,lvl2.effect..."

I've tried using the AOE indicator, but after the game loads (past the picking screen) I get kicked in the menu with an error like "Unknown new entity type - bad snapshot; 265047 Unread bits".
I cannot resume my game unless I quit HoN, disable the aoe mod and rejoin.
This does not happed every time, but most of the times (~80% of the games I start).
In practice mode it causes no problem.
Do you remember what hero you were using?
Just letting you know He, the Eye of Sauron tower skin doesn't work with your Tower Range Indicator mod :/
how about adding a straight line to gauntlets hook? that would be awesome sauce! cause the hook works alot(!) better if you can click between you and the target, dragging both to that point, but angle gets so screwed up, as it is difficult to tell exactly how the hook will launch, as the angle increases over length, so to speak. not sure how to code it, but i cant imagine it to be that difficult, as its just a straight line the length of the hooks range.

how hard would it be to make the a mod that made it so the aoe animations matched? or just make it so other animations that dont match matched?

I use AoE Range Indicators(Full)
This mod very usefull and helpfull, but some times i have trouble with it - like "[Sins]Lust" have (in post #208). Game crashed - when some one take "Demented Shaman" - only with this char. Why it could be?
I also read "INCOMPATIBILITIES", but i don't use any one from that list.
I use "Ability Range Indicators"(by Ruler0f), "Item Range"(by DreadTalon), "Tower Range Indicator (atMU_conv)"(by Sephinator) and "Ward of Revelation Indicator"(by Penance) - see, there is nothing from "INCOMPATIBILITIES" list.
Thats why then game crashed when some one use "Demented Shaman"?

Yes, I'm quite sure it's not possible (I've tried it before and the spell simply disappeared due to certain limitations.)

Updated mod; there are a few inaccuracies with Myrmidon's Weed Field and I will get that fixed ASAP.
I understand the updates aren't coming out as often as they should be but I've being busy with a lot of other stuff and will hopefully release the next major update when HoN 2.0 is released (if needed).
Note; If you get unread bits error please tell me which hero you were playing when this occured (please make sure you have the latest version of my mods though).
Note2; I was unable to add compatibility for the Eye of Sauron Tower mod as it is in s2z format and I have no way of determining whether or not the mod is present when applying the mod.

Think that would cause a lot of lag but I may be able to use different range indicator sprites for different abilities? :/
