1. Super Beta Tester
Take part in the testing of new patches and content before they are released. Help uncover bugs and balance issues to make sure the patches that go live are ready for prime time.
Requirements
- 1700 PSR
- 1650 MMR
- Available to play 1-2 test games/night during peak testing phases (Hours are primarily US-based nights; eg. Anytime between 14:00-0:00 GMT-5)
- Ability to provide clear and concise feedback. An emphasis on logical reasoning, sound game mechanics knowledge and English writing skills.

I missed the SBT session last weekend. Will there be more sessions outside of weekends?
I usually bounce around 1620-1700 psr. My stats are kinda meh, but I have 600+ games played. I was in open beta for HoN, and closed for LoL (LoL sucks). I'll do it if you take me. I've played DotA for 2 years as well.
edit: Current psr is 1636.
edit2: If it makes any difference for hardware testing purposes, I'm run a Q9450 @ 3.7Ghz on water, 4GB dominator ram @ 1066 5-5-5-15, and a 4870 stock.

Was this just a hoax to get ppl to use the test-client or is there a bigger point in here?
No, this isn't a hoax, there actually is a group of super beta testers who test the new test client patches that everyone (who knows the pass) can access in the Upcoming Content section, and help to balance it out (and make sure there aren't any bugs) before patches are released.
It's basically a group that organizes games on the test client to ensure feedback is as close to real games as possible, as opposed to a couple of people testing stuff in practice mode.
Do the developers give any orders as to what to play? Like, they changed a hero in a rather significant way and want the Super Tester to have him in every game to see how it plays out, or are the games just for fun and everyone plays what he feels like playing.
