First: I dont want to complain about using this command to see a bit more.
I have set it up to 2150. Thats fine.
But u also can have 3000, 4000, even 10000+ and u see everything.
Ok, the last settings would be pretty **** for playing, but it should be just an example.
There are other command like "scene_farClip" and "cam_distanceStep" and so on. With them u dont that that glitches and can exploit it.
I can understand people who dont want to play with g_camDistanceMax 1650, but when i see people who have settings about 2500-3000, i think that is exploiting.
S2 should remove the console for us and lock the cam distance to 2100-2300, something like that.
Is there any official statement about the cam distance, yet?
Im feeling uncomfortable when i think of that some people have maybe some advantages more then me :/ (oooooooooooh, Q_Q, i know, but its true!)
there is a minimap, you are allowed to see everything not in fog of war.
and thats no argument, "there is a minimap".. i can play easliy with 1650 and using the minimap. why can't everyone do so? but i dont want to have a disadvantage to other players.

guy.. if u ask me, remove this **** console. i hate it and think it is cheating, but i dont want to be one of the minority who uses the standart cam distance...
of course it is not fair! and dont call me an idiot, thats childish and i wont discuss with kids -_-
and btw: is there an official statement?
Remove the console?! What are you smoking?
I agree about setting the cam distance max to a server-set value though.
most pc games give you access to the console even post release
Support a further cam distance
yeah but u cant edit matchmaking things! and when u edit some of them u get banned in leagues
but i ask me, why u dont want to have those fixed values of 2000-2300 of cam distance?
They just haven't locked that variable yet.

Haha "Remove the console". Sigh. That is the nuclear bomb approach, which would also basically destroy mod debugging.
