As you all know his ultimate is the channeling blizzard ability, After playing glacius 4-5 times I have had good ultimate and bad ultimates. For clarification a bad ultimate is when you ultimate an enemy at melee range while hes imprisoned and you dont get any procs of dmg, I just watch glacius spin while the enemy hero takes no dmg. And I've had good ultimate where in the same scenario where I have an enemy in an melee imprisonment where I get 5-6 procs of dmg destroying the enemy hero. I feel that the only hero that should deal with luck is heroes with crit / evasion and blacksmith. Why should such a stable and fragile hero like glacius have to worry about getting procs on an ultimate when hes easily the squishiest hero of all.
So what I propose is what you switch how his ultimate works.
I think it would be awesome if at the start of his ultimate, It would start at the base of glacius, and rotate outward circularly spinning like a trail until it reached the the max range and it would start back over at the base of glacius
just imagine a spiral pretty much. I would usually offer pics but im on a mac atm >_>
The main issue is that right now there are sometimes chances where you can drop an ult and it'll kill someone nearly instantly because you'll land like 5 hits within like 1.5 seconds. If you made it anything different it would just always be mediocre damage...meh, no fun.
Viable, the speed of the spiral etc is discussable. But im still not fond of his low hp and one of the most risky ultimates in the game, compared to the RNG is offers.
S2, Dec 13th:
"We will never allow players to gain an ingame advantage for money, ONLY COSMETICS"
S2, July 29th
"Players will be able to PURCHASE early access to new heroes to play them before they are released for free to the rest of the legacy players."
glacs ulti could be made to something dot-like comparable to devo's in aoe
it would also help his role of "leaving the kill to the carry" since enemys whos hp bars go down slowly r easier to lasthit
