Item abilities
passive: +60 movement +10 all stats, "phase shift" status
Phase shift description: After standing still for 3 seconds (subject to tweaking), the wearer becomes invisible(Alternative: user gradually fades to invisible over 3 seconds). moving at any time will break invisibility. While invisible, reveals other stealthed units.
Cost: 3700 total
Item ingredients:
Blessed Orb
Marchers
Bound Eye
Recipe item (3700 - cost of above)
(terminology such as name/effect name also subject to alteration)
Item purpose: An alternate anti-stealth item with no drop-on-death. designed for "bigger target" heroes for whom it may be more risky to buy a bound eye and end up handing it over to the other team.
OP? maybe. I'm open to suggestions for changes. tying marchers to it could be removed.

I dont see this item being bought, ever. you can buy dusts/wards/gem for much less, and 5 sec fade time is an eternity
lol I think it's OP... you think it's too weak? i'll play with the numbers.
If you ask me, being invisible and able to catch a scout that runs by without him knowing you're there is pretty powerful. Also gems(eye, this is HoN and I'm going to use HoN names) drop when you die, making it a very risky purchase particularly for newer players.

But people can still see that you have the boots, then a non-movable five-second fade stealth? And it doesn't true-sight for the whole team? There's no synergy for... Well, anything. Though the 10 stats and MS would be nice. Lol
OK, lowered delay to 3 seconds, and now it reveals players normally.
Better. =P Removing one hero (And waiting for an ambush maybe?) and giving true-sight and stats seems fair enough... Anyone who's much better then me care to comment?
I just think there should be some kind of stealth detection that doesn't end up being a liability for people who aren't the most absolutely perfect players. For these people, hunting down scouts or other stealth heroes can be very difficult.
It's good for setting a trap for an especially annoying invisible unit![]()
No.
Just because the idea of two people having this item standing still next to eachother not moving so they can both see eachother but both do nothing about it.... it's just... no... please... please no.

Well, I suspect people wouldn't do that. The idea appears to be to go to a place where an invisible character might be and stop. I can think of some really useful situations for this. Such as when the tree guy narrowly avoids death by hugging the trees. I could provide sight for my team and then move again. Also remember that it stealths you in the process so if you're getting chased down you might be able to stop long enough to have the stealth activate and potentially avoid a gank.
Look, what do I know... not much... I get killed so often it's sad. But I'd like something that made it a little harder to so casually kill me off.
Sure sure, if I were better that wouldn't be such a problem. But as I said elsewhere by that logic we could remove half the items and just say that the remainder should be used more efficiently.
Maybe it's just me but I haven't seen any item suggestions from the hardcore dota crowd? Am I missing it? They seem to shoot everything down... perhaps with good reason but one would think they'd suggest something better in return.![]()
