    Sand Wraith's Ult

    Hello,

Can someone explain Sand Wraiths Ult to me? What I want to know, is exactly how to use it, and if there is a technique that works good. For example: I hit R, then all my illusions pop up. Then what do I do?

Also, if items dont transfer, with your illusions, how come mock works on them? Or does mock only work on the illusion you take control of? Can someone please explain?

    Thank you.

For illusions, passive effects and stats transfer, but pure +damage items do not. If you have a wingbow, your illusions will gain evasion and +30 damage from the agility bonus, but NOT the +30 damage direct bonus. If you have mock, they will gain the passive burn but NOT the +60 damage direct bonus.

On sandwraith, the ultimate technique changes depending on where you are. If you're beside the fight, use your sand path first, and use your ultimate as you run in. If you just right click like normal on enemy heroes, your illusions will do nice damage on their own and you dont have to jump to them at all. Of course, you can jump to attack the carry right away, or finish off a fleeing hero, but its up to you.

If you're far away, use your ult and then jump to the most favourable position. This is usually behind a weak support hero or weak agility hero that you can kill quickly. Use this skill to offset any position advantage that the other team may have.

You jump by hitting R again within 5 seconds and clicking close to the illusion you want to jump to. It will choose the illusion closest to the point you selected, so be careful not to misclick on the minimap and end up in the wrong lane by mistake!

Ok thank you. So, after I hit R for the second time, do I left click on the mini map, to actually take control of that illusion, or will it just move the camera there, and if i want to take control of that one, i left or right click on the area by the illusion?

You can click on the map or in the screen, it doesnt matter.

The first time you hit R you will spawn the illusions, and the skill will be replaced by a targetted ability that allows you to teleport to an illusion. The second time you hit R you are using a target-able ability, so you'll left click.

Most of the time you'll be watching the fight when you use your ulti anyway, so your screen should be in the right area. If not, you can just move your screen over the fight, decide which illusion you want to jump to, press R and click near it to teleport.
