BR players don't have BR servers...
...and they still want to play using their language; there are people who don't speak English, BR or not.

Every time you have a BR on your team your winning chances significantly drop because of poor gameplay and communication. I don't mind there being BR servers on the list but I do mind have an idiot coming into a game being the only person that doesn't understand what's going on and ruining the game. I don't care if a BR person plays in a BR game but the fact that it's on the US server and some idiots who can't communicate with English that well join a non-BR game and ruin it.
Actually, you can still filter out all games with "Braz" on name by your own, that is exactly this mod does too.
Unless you always join a game without look at the game name first

You all said about BR joining non-BRs, but what about non-BR joining BR games?
And what about other languages speakers?
When someone on your team can't understand whats going on, it doesn't matter if it is BR or not games or players.
It's too comfortable to put English as main language for you, I know about US and other servers, but you can't ban other countries from playing HoN. They are actually PLAYING and creating rooms.
This mods excludes "BRASIL", why not put some other options like filtering "noob" or other words? Filtering "EU" or "US" by the word and not the servers? (we need them right now!)
BR Games are on US Servers. US Games are on US Servers. US Players are located in US. BR players playing on US Servers are from Brasil. See the problem?
And yes, Brasil can be banned from playing games. Many games have discontinued their service in Brasil because most Brasilians fail to contribute to the community and do nothing but spam Portuguese, ruin games, and communicate poorly. I don't know about HoN but in most other games that I've played, Brazilians were the others that brought out public hacks.
Because this mod isn't working anymore... that's why we're not adding other filters.

I don't know any game which has banned BR gamers or discontinued services here; most failures we had in Brazil were from incompetent companies.
I'm talking about both failures from the start, like PPT (Pang Pang Terrible hosted by OnGame, crashed and bugged right from the beta), or lacks of administration like BR LUG games (RO, GrandChase etc).
I have played a good number of MMO and I don't remember any game ruined by brazilian guys; are you sure about that?
Ah, what about American IP Blocks (jPerfect World, Infinity Online...)? I'm sure it was not our fault.
I do agree about hacks and I can't do a thing about it, but we do have serious and skilled people as well; its a shame that BR are known for hacking, but I've seen lots of hackers/exploiters from other countries...

I plan on buying HoN and I can't stand something that offends me.
You said that you have nothing against and I respect you; I do agree about filtering words, but my point is about ONLY filtering BRs... it's not working, I know, but we could feel what people think from what they posted here. (take a look on other posts)
It would be better if we could specify the games we want to see, being it noob, BR, US, EU, Chinese...

Maybe there's a reason why they don't host Brazilian servers.
Combat Arms discontinued service in Brazil. There's also a possibility that Nexon might follow suit with the rest of the games that they host.
The point is that this is a mod. Not the game. The mod's not going to ruin the game for you. The mod filters out BR games. Not the game. If the game did have filters then it would obviously filter out other regions, by title, by latency, etc.

Its better showing from the start what we think about it, excluding "trolling".
And I liked that we could discuss it.
S2 said it themselves, it's because the only servers they find are either resold Austin, Texas servers, or extremely overpriced servers with slow speeds (in Brazil). They aren't able to find suitable South American servers because of that.
@ Kaillarkz, If a mod ever gets too far, S2 can always ban it's use, remove it from the forums, find a way to block that kind of use in the game (with code), etc. This kind of thing is just searching for a piece of text, and if it's found, removes an entry. That's nothing that unbalances the game or gives an unfair advantage, so it's just fine as a mod.
