The new feature to resell items for full value for 5(?) seconds after purchasing is a nice addition, but one that hopefully you don't ever have to use.
The problem that arises is with the addition of hotkeys to the shops and the rules for the stash. The inability to sell from the stash (which is consistant with the circles of power from DotA)
See where the problem arises? In order to buy the wrong item in DotA you had to actually click the wrong item. In Heroes all it takes is fatfingering of the item menu, or not escaping from the menu or anything (personally I attack move away from the shops all the time and end up with Observer Wards). Now this habbit should fade in time, but the current limitations of the stash may not. It just seems an odd double standard to add the ability to sellback misbuys when, imo, most mispurchases will occur when you're not at the shop to be able to sellback.
Edit: Also, the inability to place your stashed items on the ground to be waypointed to be picked up is annoying. Sure, it only saves you 2 seconds, but sometimes (most times) that's enough. Also, combining recipes: DotA has it so the last part of a combine doesn't require an inventory slot, why can't HoN?
TL;DR
Basically;
In DotA you couldn't sell things for full value, in HoN you can,
In DotA you couldn't sell from your circle, in HoN you still can't,
In DotA you couldn't buy with hotkeys, in HoN you can.
Given these "facts" and that, imo, most mispurchases happen when using the stash, the new "feature" doesn't get to be used, so why add it?

in dota, you could buy items with hotkeys.
sellbacks seem to be there mainly for fixing mistakes at the beginning of the game and not accidental keypresses. that being said, the ability to sellback from the stash for the first 5 seconds would be the logical place to take the sellback function
You can always unbind any keys related to the buying/navigating the shop menu to prevent fatfingering.
if you could sell from stash, then people would buy a bunch of items before they die so they can resell and not lose gold
fair enough point
@gipp, you cant sell from either stash or inventory when your dead to prevent this already
