The Blacksmith is based on the Ogre Magi from DotA, but he has one small difference in the way his multicast stuns work. When the Ogre Magi multicasts a stun, not only is the damage of the stun multiplied, but also the stun length. This is not the case with the Blacksmith, and I propose that the spell be changed to match its functionality in DotA. It wouldn't be game breaking, but it would provide the hero with an increased level of disable.
i reckon it's not stunning multiple times, but hitting for the multiplied amount in 1 go.

It's not a huge nerf; the extra stun length from Multicasts are about 0,1s per multiplier. Although it is annoying, I do admit.
Agreed. Blacksmith could use this slight buff.

The stun length is the same for each level, but the multi cast "extends" the duration because it is recast on the same hero every .3 seconds.
So in DotA, if you were to multi x4, it would be .3 * 3 + 1.5 = 2.4 seconds total.
